Man I was gonna post about a top ten with no bob ain't **** but the question is fair enough and more powerful actually.

When I think UK greats, not to be disrespectful to the UK greats, only two names jump out right away.

Fitzs' historical accomplishments can't be knocked.

Chris Eubank is the greatest entertainer in boxing history, including Ali and the like.

Slappy Joe, Lennox, etc. those names come, but after. The immediate thought, first and foremost, Fitzs, then I think oh but Chris ain't nothing to **** with. Just as great, from a different perspective.

I think Tommy Burns is underrated and was "british" back then ... right? I mean I know he's canadian, and I know the BE policies and using those to call him British is being a bit long in the tooth, but, could do ... and he's seriously underrated so I give him respects when I can.

Since John L is so respected I think the guy who he fought to a draw to be considered world champion should likewise be considered equal. Charlie Mitchell was he only equal to the baddest man alive. We don't often get those in boxing history so I like to acknowledge him and that situation.

Side note- I don't know if Slappy Joe is meant to be an insult usually, it's endearing to me cause the pun, similarity, to sloppy joe. I don't want "slapped" by Joe. I din't mean it as disrespect.

Double side not - I admire y'all what think about this stuff alone and come to these threads prepared. hat's off lads.

good post. i remember benn really hated eubank but eubank just saw him as someone to overcome in order to move out of a maisonete flat and into a house.
just pure money. benn really hated him.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6CfsygSmYo watch this great doc about their rivalry. if you look at 9.55 you see as eubank poses after knockout prince nasseem is watching in the crowd in a red t shirt. people say eubank inspired him and his image later on.

I'm not inviting or baiting an argument, my response will be thank you for answering either way, but I do have some questions.

Edit- I had a long form question but I figured I could just make a short statement and get the same effect:

David Haye seems a bit high, to me.
