I'd say both his heart and will were tested by Ruddock, and that he passed the test.I also think that even after being beat up and floored by Douglas when he was scrambling around on the canvas half senseless, putting his mouthpiece in backwards,he was still trying to get up and continue.
Liston had his nose broken by Williams ,and his jaw broken by Marshall he continued in both fights winning the first by a ko and dropping a decision in the other.Thats two "bumps in the road," he overcame. Tyson and Liston were bullies so they will quit when the going gets tough is an easy and convenient rationale that in both cases is incorrect imo. Both exhibited," heart and will," in those fights, imo

All due respect though, I do find it sad that Rooney has been unwell for a while and might not have much time left.
The peekaboo is not “almost useless.” It’s a great style, effective even in the current era. It just needs to be learned from someone knowledgeable.

Here is Fei Faiva who trains out of Cus D’Amato’s KO Boxing Gym under the tutelage of George Young.

When I hear 'the peekaboo' I think of Marlon Starling.

Or am I mistaken of the technique? .....................Rockin' Rattle Snake

She is beautiful at the style. Carbon copy of young Tyson.

Telling their writing apart is easy. Early songs written for other artists clearly have McCartney's stamp, stuff like World Without Love, by Peter & Gordon. Mary Hopkin was a protege of Paul's. I always suspected he had a heavy hand in her hit Those Were The Days.

Either guy could have done big things without the other had it worked out that way.

Teddy's bitterness stems from the same reason he was bitter towards Donny Lalonde...because he got dumped before he had a chance to cash in on their $ucce$$. He got left on the outside when the going got good and never saw a dime of it.
