I have a problem with Chuvalo being on the list. This might sound like mere word play but can one be crowned King of Recuperation if one never seems to actually be hurt?

Foreman lifted Chuvalo off his feet and no doubt he would have fallen down had not the ropes caught him, but the SOB took Big George Foreman's vicious upper cut actually had both feet leave the canvas, and then still come down upright.

If the title was "Iron Man" I'd say Chuvalo is the guy.

P.S. Same thing applies to Randal Cobb. He's an iron man too, but no clue if he had any recuperation capabilities. I never saw him hurt.
I like the iron man distinction. Like I implied earlier, that is where Marciano belongs too--on your Iron Man list. How about Ward and Gatti? They were pretty absorbent boys.

A few times Holyfield looked gone and would rally back like a beast

True. I thought Bowe had his number in fight II as well - Bowe was coming on strong but then fan-man appeared giving Holyfield a breather. He then roared back to take the decision.

Fury I would say. I don't see why Marciano is here for one simple reason - it was kind of impossible to seriously hurt this man. I mean - he never looked shaken or been in a heavy knockdown (he has only one).

              Larry "Motherfxckin'" Holmes, my G.

that man got hit with maybe the hardest punch ever thrown, by the man most people (before Deontay Wilder) said was the hardest puncher in the history of boxing, Earnie Shavers, and got up from that shxt and won the damn fight.

He took brutal punishment from Ken Norton as well.

              Guy was incredible.

Obviously, Ali as well, who also took hellacious shots from Shavers, Frazier, Foreman, Liston, and Holmes himself.

Diego Corrales. You literally had to kill him to stop him in a fight.

One of my favorite fighters but I don't think so. He had the heart but it could be killed. You could tell when he was finished and I don't recall him losing bad and coming back. He was not known for it.
