Diminishing returns the higher up the scale you go. And, too, I think at the upper end you eventually reach a point where the added weight starts working against you.
yeah. Once they hit a certain size it actually becomes a hinderance. Boxing hasn’t changed, there just aren’t many good small heavies anymore or even light heavies for that matter.

the big guys in Louis and Dempseys day weren’t the best either. But they had fighters like Louis and Dempseys around to topple them.

      - - Bivol and Beter capable of beating any LH in history.

Of course they would have modern division strength and weight advantages, so not a fair comparison…

He is repeating the same old mistake of novice observers; judging boxers as ATGs because they beat up a few contemporaries. Suddenly they would beat anyone in history. Wait for the cues to know when a fool is speaking. Holmes couldn't fight, but Beter and Bivol could. That had ought to be enough right there. I imagine prime Roy Jones would kill either slow poke before they could take a step.

            Whom have they beat?

Beterbiev is a terrific puncher with average speed and so so foot work ,he can be caught square and dropped, and because of it,his boxing ability is limited.
Bivol is a good boxer with a fair punch but nothing exceptional
            Delaney
            Dillon
            Lewis
            H Johnson
            Marshall
Have they beaten any one of that calibre?

            Let alone the top tier
            Charles
            Moore
            Conn
            Foster
            Spinks
            Loughran
            ???

Have they beaten anyone as good as the great 70's era's 175pounders, Saad, M Johnson,Mustapha Muhammad,Galindez, Conteh ,Qawi ?
How many men as good as
            Burnett,Lopez,Kates ,Hutchins,Ahumada,have they beaten?

              - - All just names in their day when HOF didn't exist for most of your list.

Look, you got beat up such that you quit boxing. Beter is as big as Floyd Patterson with more power and better chin, an easy KO for Beter. Maybe you should check the last 5 yrs of the IBHOF selections before you soil yourself further.

You should check how many of those old names are in the HOFand whom they beat.
You should also check whom Beterbiev and Bivol have beaten to prove your statement they could beat any LHvy.
Newsflash Joe Smith Jnr doesn't cut it!

WGAF about the Boxing Hall Of Fame Museum?
