If you just beat up pedestrian fighters your whole career, you get the legacy associated with it, even when it is not your fault.

Whether he was frozen out or got what he preferred, it has the same impact on his legacy, fair or not, and it isn't. I do not know which opponents (if any) can elevate him to the position some people are already putting him in, at this late date in his career. If he could knock off a Charlo, that would help. But one Charlo is busy being a crybaby and the brave one is fighting Caneler next. Crawford will have to put on some more weight and put it on quick, in the search for a sustaining legacy. He made a great start. Now put some siding up.
    Always... levels to the game!

$55mil PPVs most he’s ever done, but not without Spence.

Spence was nerve damaged so they so they say. IMO this is true if casts a new light on Crawford's big win. Perhaps Spence agreed to the fight just for the money. Lots of people who upset with his performance vs. Crawford.

Where do you place Crawford @ all time wetter weight?

        Top 10?
        Top 11-16
        Top 17-25
        Beyond the 25 best.

Crawford's resume of wins is rather thin.

Has Crawford been hit yet, and hit good? Beard is pretty important. I've seen a lot of guys fall who were supposedly on their way to AT greatness. I haven't really followed him. If a fighter thinks he is an ATG and a lot of people agree, that is a good time to retire, from what I have seen of fate in boxing. There is a contract, but I don't think fans are salivating for a rematch. He had 5 years of delay during which it seems he could have been building a real legacy. The rematch with Spence will eat up more time, and he won't have much left after that, at his age. The reaper comes like a thief in the night and you are old overnight.

Roy Jones syndrome lol. It would be nice is someone on the thread could answer, I do not know if Crawford ever had his beard tested. I guess onme could say Porter caught him a few times, but Porter is not a real puncher, more of a swarmer who needs accumulation.

Well he is already 35, and will be e 36 next month. The age where most ATG's have secured their legacy.

                  - - Don't recall him fighting a big slugger much less one that was prime.

He may stay at 147 of head up to 154

He needs to build a resume to be considered among the greats. The top ALL timers. IMO his chin was never really tested partially because he is good offense and defense. Partially because he competition is weak. Guys hit harder a 154 like Charro. And if Crawford dares to move up to middleweight a fight with the very old but still good GGG will break the bank.
