Since you have yet to understand boxing timelines, you don't understand the Marv fight took place ages after then, and I never said Ray said Marv would KO him, YOU DID...duh...

I stated Ray knew Marv KOs him in the rematch, hence him ducking the biggest $$$ fight in boxing that could be made in that timeline, the immediate rematch. I among many others completely ditched Ray as a fighter of any honor because of the way he was jerking around honorable boxers and boxing fans.
And exactly how do you know that Ray thought Marvin would KO him in a rematch?

And I hate to break this to you, but quitting is losing.

I don't think Leonard has lost a second of sleep worry about having you as a fan or not. Fact is though, you can't change the greatness nor accomplishments of Sugar Ray Leonard.

      - - Leonard ran, not fought, so Duran dismissed him as easily as he dismissed that load he was carrying in the dressing room bathroom.

Ray not as dumb as you. He looked and Marv rematch record and said, No Mas...Nevermore....

Duran quit because Leonard didn't stand in front of him like he did the first time.

So are you saying you read Leonard's mind about Hagler, or do you have proof this is why Leonard and Hagler had no rematch?

          - - No rematch by Leonard of a bigger fight than the first because he knowed he gets whooped...elementary 101 logic that your minder provides when he's around...

In other words you've made more stuff up to suit your agenda.

              - - Hearns buggered up Ray's eyes, likely the cause of detached retinas. Makes perfect sense not to fight him again even if the money is greater.

In public opinion, Ray won the battle but lost the War as Hearns supplanted him in comparison popularity.

You keep reaching as well as pushing back the goal posts. There was no immediate Hearns rematch because Ray had a detached retina. No fighter in their right mind would come back from something like that against a fighter like Hearns. What does this have to do with Duran quitting the second fight though?

                  - - Hearns and Duran lost a battle vs Ray, but leaped ahead in the public eye as they won the War of public approval.

Ray eventually faced them when all were at their end days and it no longer mattered. Ray lost a lot of fans when he started double dealing.
