    - - But Hearns faded in the championship rounds, something you would never know about.

Like Ali publicly refusing to sign the fight contract that had been agreed to on Howie's ABC sport segment set up for just that moment when it was the most seminal.

Jeez, even the dolts of the world think you been giving them a bad rap...

The fact is, no one made Hearns come in at 145. Another fact is Hearns had finished all his opponents in the early to mid rounds, only once seeing the late rounds in a fight he dominated. Truth is Ray took Tommy to a place he had never been. He took him to the deep end of the pool and drowned him.

As far as the rest of your dishonest rubbish.....we've already proven you wrong on many other occasions. No need to keep going on about it.

I remember that fight happening, I was about 9 or 10 years old. How could anybody stop the wrecking machine that was the Motor City Cobra, Thomas Hearns? My mother was dating a guy who loved boxing and was he watching it live at a theatre. Actually, this guy ended up being my step-father, he was at my first amateur bout. Even though they were divorced. There used to be a heavy bag hanging in the basement that I'd punch in to. My first house with a full set of boxing gloves included.

I got to meet Sugar Ray, Jackie had taken us. This was around the time that we boxed a team of his, promoted as Team Michigan vs Team Ray Leonard at the Palace. I didn't perform that great on that night, he was simply a south paw that gave me trouble. I did get the nod but the ref told me that I was just given a gift as he was raising my hand.

The Hit Man and Sugar Ray... two great fighters.

I just wish Hearns had a slightly thicker beard. But hey, he did great.

And the first one was a great fight............Rockin'

              - - Steward admitted as the Big Man he is that he overtrained Tommy who never fought at welter again.

Ray had nothing to do with that scenario, he just lucked into it, but he clearly stacked the deck for the Duran rematch with an offer that couldn't be refused knowing Duran could not make the weight save for emaciation in the final month that ended in No Mas.

Ray ducked the Hearns rematch just like he ducked the trilogy with Duran at any weight for years until the fights were just useless comeback cash grabs. When Scully talked Ray into making his AOL debut to explain his one year secret camp training for Marv before they fought, he basically got hooted off as folks went ballistic after finding that out years later.

Tubby Lar with his Look at me bigshot ways did much the same thing with the same results. But of course you not being with AOL wouldn't know these things.

Wait.....now Leonard made Duran eat like a pig and then accept a lucrative rematch? You really are delusional.

                  - - Leonard stated his strategy in his first autobio where he had already announced his first retirement to his team after Duran whooped him pillar to post the first fight.

You making up something I never stated is typical of a congenital looser.

Funny because Durans manager said he ate and got out of shape like that EVERY fight. He also said Durn didn't quit because of any ailments but because of embarrassment.

Do you know what a congenital looser is? It's someone who can't spell the word "loser". Keep reaching, you moron.

Whether Leonard had a strategy or not, he didn't force nor trick Duran into anything......especially considering Duran held all the cards as champion.

                      - - Duran was extra fat, and had less time to work it off, all documented if you can just get your minder to find the sources to read to you.
