Jake near had to saw off body parts to make 160, so he might go on a Duran style Binge post fight with his Mama's Italian spread, rolling into a nap at 170. Then say 5PM takes a laxative purge, and settles in for light breakfast fare, say half lb of ground round with a couple of eggs and hash browns to sit on 5 hrs before the fight, likely around 168-169.

Dunno why Duran didn't take a laxative purge after his post weighin 2 porterhouse steak dinners before his Leonard rematch, but in hindsight, sure he knows he blew that opportunity.

I believe laxatives are banned today, but I don't know the extent since many plants exist that could do the job as good as a drugstore laxative.

Ray and this era look to be very overextending a lot of times to the body and are very hesitant in most movements. They don't fight from range much,they leave themselves open a lot of times, and a lot of times they will just throw to the body and not protect themselves. The Carlos era were able to protect the body with 1 hand while punching to the body. along with all the other advances in movement, along with being way smoother in movements the ray era They use mostly counters when up close. The lateral movement is very basic. They don't seem to be able to punch from range while doing it smoothly. They have to stop then punch most of the time. Their feet are mostly tiptoeing.

I can't remember in great detail and I have no notes on the subject but from my memory the major testers like USADA have a vague sort of catch-all wording that's something to the effect of any substance the athlete believes gives them an advantage is banned.

A while back I became curious what was the standards for a drug or supplement to be banned. So I wasn't looking for laxatives per-se but I think with the vague wording yes they are banned. I'll look around and see if I can't find more solid info.
