He beat no one I recognize and I am familiar with the best the USA program has. Just a hunch ring magazine is using his size as a good story but really they don't go deep as I do in the prospect rankings.
Remember that the BoxRec database is focused on professional boxing of the MOQ era. It has begun compiling data for Amateur and Bareknucke Boxing as well as Kickboxing, but those records are quite incomplete as the focus on those efforts has stalled. The idea would eventually be to roll in a combat sport athlete's matches from everthing from Freestyle Wrestling to Muay Thai, MMA to Sanda and everything else in between, and color coded; but the user demand for this against the time-cost for research (even links) and coding to John's volunteers is being mulled over (the Muay Thai records are killers, the amatuer wrestling includes high school, so think about where an all or nothing intention of accuracy takes you)....so watch those records.
Anyway, Antonio Mireles was not 17-4-0 in the amateurs, he was a somewhat better 28-4-0 (9), and moved quickly, won the National Golden Gloves and the US Olympic trials, and lost out representing the US to eventual Silver medalist Richard Torrez Jr. It's a long and unpredicable road from 6-0 (6) in the pros to the top 10, but like the other prospects I placed into my wild prognostication future ratings, he's gained the attention of the shakers & movers and from here on out he'll be getting the hot house plant treatment to develop skills.

I have to check him out. My guess is he is only big, not fast handed or very powerful , otherwise he'd clean up in the amateurs beating guy I recognize at the top and knocking some in the amateurs out.

I'm not sold on Torrez Jr. He looks too small to me.

You might be right. Maybe in a 215 or 225 weight division he might do well.

Torrez might appear in by quarterly update done this March in this very thread! I agree that he is too small to go far but he has a punchers chance.

Victor Vykhryst might move up based on his next fight vs Pero who is also undefeated. They meet on February 11th 2023. Or Vykhryst is off the list and Pero might appear on it

How about Franklin vs Joshua? If he can get in shape to go 12 hard rounds, and he can take Joshua's best punch... I could maybe see him grind down the Brit over the distance. I think it would be a cracking fight, whichever way it goes - and would much prefer this to a Joshua - Whyte return match!
Good call on this !! April 1st at the 02 - Signed!
Perfect level to bring Joshua back with.
He will be tested. He will have to Work for it.
He is not likely to get caught, wobbled and startched.
He's not ready for Fury or Wilder, and probably not Joyce either.
...but if he recaptures his mojo, he could be.
Franklin acquitted himself well in his step up, comming off a stalled career. I felt he beat Whyte. He will be 100% for this chance of a lifetime and maaaaan, Joshua had better be ready to throw his hands for this.

                    - - Whyte been Shyte since Pov left him motionless for 5 min.

Blubber and Deyonce already ducked AJ multiple times, collectively in the hundreds of millions worth of purses offered.

OK, you like them light in the loafer boys needing each other to succor their fragile egos, no biggie. Time to move on as Eddie and AJ been playing the A game from inception.

The type of guys Top Rank is matching Torrez with is criminal. They probably think his ceiling is small
