You can find those details from the study I did earlier this year:

    Louis & Ali: https://www.ringtv.com/634945-to-be-...rankings-10-1/
    Holmes: https://www.ringtv.com/634728-to-be-...ankings-40-31/
    Wlad: https://www.ringtv.com/634641-to-be-...ankings-60-51/
    - - Yeah, you posted some of those early lead segments for us to follow, but most guys here weren't much interested since they need a much hated protagonist to argue with.

Wow, thanks. Each fighter deserves his on thread based on this research. Do you have Lenox Lewis, Vitali Klitschko's and Tyson Fury's recored vs ring magazine ranked opponents too?

          Lewis was here: https://www.ringtv.com/634689-to-be-...ankings-50-41/

For some older time fighters in the study, recall that the "record" against ranked foes includes losses and draws to unranked fighters and is contained to the period of their first and last ranking in the magazine

Vitali and Fury didn't crack the study top 100 but I have Fury at 4-0-1 (Wlad, Wilder, Whyte all Ring ranked) to date.

Vitali was 7-2 with the following results (including opponent ranking and the cover date of the issue the ranking came from:

          Chris Byrd (10) - Hvy - 07/00
          Lennox Lewis (0) - Hvy - 10/03
          Corrie Sanders (3) - Hvy - S/04
          Danny Williams (9) - Hvy - 04/05
          Sam Peter (2) - Hvy - 12/08
          Juan Carlos Gomez (9) - Hvy - 06/09
          Chris Arreola (6) - Hvy - 11/09
          Kevin Johnson (10) - Hvy - 02/10
          Tomasz Adamek (2) - Hvy - 11/11,

Thanks again. Herbie Hide and Kirk Johnson I think were ranked by ring magazine.

Nope. Neither was ranked when Vitali beat them.

Okay, then all the fighters had to be ranked when they fought them, which differs a lot form if they were ranked at all. Do I have this correct now? This is a Herculean amount of re-search for 100 fighter's.

If you read this, it explains what actually went into it:

                    https://www.ringtv.com/article/to-be-the-best-intro/

I’ve also found corrections and will continue to update ad Infinitum. Haha. I still update a database I have of all their rankings every new published issue
