Archie weren't ever in prime traditional athletic years in the Johnson fights, and moreover he was grotesquely tight at 175 which is another reason he's such a lesson, ie the discipline to defend his LH title for 10 years while a heavyweight contender...duh!

Moore's prime imo, lasted from about 1945 when he was the number 1 light heavyweight contender until around 1952 a remarkable 7 years.Neither Lesnevich or Mills would go near him.
Moore won the title on17th Dec 1952,and even if you include his version of the NYSAC title that was left to him after the NBA stripped him of their crown on 25th Oct 1960.This would only take him up to the 10th Jun 1961.So 8 and a half years as champ not 10 as you stated.
Perhaps it's you that muddled?
Moore did not have discipline,a natural light heavy, his weight fluctuated alarmingly so much that he had to wear a rubber corset when doing roadwork and sparring. He loved his food and told Peter Heller that he had three sizes of each set of clothes he owned and selected them according to what weight he was at that particular time.
Are you muddled again?
Since you ducked my original question.

I've never been so muddled when citing approximate figures as U are when distilling them incorrectly. We, ie even U muddle must know Archie weren't perfectly, ie immaculately champ for 3102.5 days...yer welcome...
