I don't think Marciano was Frazier's superior at all. That's an opinion certainly open to debate.
Frazier was a one armed heavyweight. Only heavyweight champion to never knock an opponent down with his right hand. He lacked coordination between his left and right fists. This is why you never saw 2-3 punch combinations from him involving both fists. Frazier’s foot speed was poor (stated so himself) so Joe tended to languish at distance slipping blows but not closing distance. Although he had a very quick left hook and certainly powerful who did he ever ko for a ten count? Foster?

Marcianos defense was much more diverse than Frazier and he could knock you dead with either fist. Hook, uppercut, straight right.

Weight differences at heavyweight is a meaningless statistic especially when you consider the advantages of being a two handed puncher.

You're entitled to your opinion. Just be mindful that it is not a set-in-stone fact.

If old light heavyweight Archie Moore could drop Marciano then it's quite reasonable to think that Frazier would have done the same and even more.

You say weight differences at heavyweight are meaningless but a size advantage is a size advantage regardless of weight class. Good bigs usually beat good littles, if all else is close to equal.

No. If you know boxing you cannot study both fighters and conclude Frazier was Marcianos superior.

If a wild swinging Bonevena can knock Frazier down twice and be within one punch of a TKO victory what would Marciano do to him? See your logic is highly flawed.

Another error. At heavyweight weight may or may not be an advantage. A better fighter will use a much larger foe as a human punching bag. Been seen all through boxing history.

Once again you make an authoritative statement for what is merely your opinion. Does John Fury know boxing? Because he picks Frazier to beat Marciano in this hypothetical matchup.

Size can be a disadvantage sometimes, sure. Especially in terms of stamina. But Frazier could go 15 rounds no problem at his weight so that wouldn't come into play. And no one used Joe as a human punching bag except for the bigger George Foreman.

            - - When Jack was watching Joe coming up, he said something like, "When I knockdown guys, they usually get up for more. When Joe hits guys, they usually stay down."

And still remains the best prime to prime fight that can be made.
