    Louis’ Cross vs Frazier’s Hook

I originally wanted to make a Louis vs Frazier fantasy fight. But now I think it’d be a bit more unique to hone in on this specific aspect.
Which of these two do you think had the better signature punch? Are you more of a fan of Joe Louis’ right cross or Joe Frazier’s left hook? As always, be sure to list specific reasons why.
One thing I think I could reasonably say based on what I’ve seen is that Louis was a lot more conservative about when he threw his cross than Frazier was with his hooks; which makes sense since he does have a reputation as someone who didn’t like to waste punches.

I would pick Frazier's hooks, but I'm a but biased for guys that are aggressive, come forward and throw heavy punches. Frazier either knocked you out or got knocked out, seemed to be his style.

The fastest route to any point is a straight line. I'll take the Louis cross over the Frazier hook. Both were devastating weapons and by no means am I disparaging Frazier by picking Louis. But Louis' right was rattlesnake quick and just as deadly.

Different circumstances bred different apex punchers who looked at the ring fundamentally from different perspectives. Guys like FRazier and Marciano were human phenomenes needing a means to express that will and ability to come fourth like Musashi... Musashi engaged Prince Koto ina duel, and the prince was considered a great stone cold killer of a swordman. what was clear was that if a duel was going to express this greatness Musashi had not a chance... But alas Musashi found a way to win... because he was Musashi, not the greatest technical swordsman... but the man who would walk away with more digits and less peircings than his opponent. Marciano could have used a jab if not the suzy Q... Frazier had a good left and so the hook became his way.

Louis was raised up, taught all the punches. His technique was what made him superb. People do not realize what it means that a puncher could, in a fifteen round contest so consistently stalk and find his prey. How good did Louis have to be to do that 25 times was it?

          - - Louis was a multi signature punch specialist.

Frazier primarily a left hooker had a serviceable right hand that he used to rip Ali kidneys up.

What more is there to say?

Who did Frazier ko for a ten count with his hook? Foster?

Louis by a mile. He had triphammer ko blows with either fist. Any punch aside from his jab could produce a ko. His right being particularly lethal.

Frazier could only use his left for a hook, because it was crooked, and a bit shortened from an old injury. His right was only ancillary, his lweft ws his major punch all the time, every fight. He probably threw 10 lefts for every right.
