This is 140 Mayweather. A Mayweather who fighting guys his size. Floyd had power at 140 and below no doubt. If Phillips was able to stop Kostya, Mayweather would have done worse. Mayweather doesn't pot shot at 140. He handled flush shots by Oscar at 154

Phillips had one of the hardest right hands in the business and he took some huge punches himself before he beat Tszyu, infact Tszyu also took some huge punches before getting TK'od.

Mayweather has never been a big puncher, respectable yes, but not a big puncher and certainly not big enough to knock Tszyu out who had a good chin.

You are living in cuckoo land if you think Mayweather is stopping Tszyu. Ive seen 25+ of Mayweather's fights and his punching power is not good enough to take Tszyu out. Tszyu had a good chin to.

no clean ko. Accumulation of puches/punishment... corner would do the right thing. pull him

            imho

Nice vid. Damn, he made Forrest look bad back then. Too bad Tszyu became so much of a head hunter in the pros.

Lol at Floyd stopping Tszyu. Mayweather has 5 KO/TKOs in 12 fights above 130. And those 5 stoppages included Phillip N'dou, an old bloated Gatti, Henry Bruseles and Sharmba Mitchell, fresh off being starched by Tszyu (in half the time Floyd did it.) I guess that leaves Ricky, and Pac just showed how iron his chin was.

Tszyu had a great right hand but I don't think he could catch Mayweather. Mayweather is too good defensively to be caught with one of his punches. Kostya had a long stance and it would be hard for him to track down Mayweather and have enough time to sit on his punches. Mayweather by TKO (ref stoppage or corner)

If Vince Phillips could stop Kostya I don't see how Mayweather can't.

Exactly its not logical to think he stops Tszyu, for a start Mayweather would have to step inside to put some hurt on Tszyu and you know he does not have the balls to do that because Tszyu is such a good puncher himself and he also has a good chin.

What next Mayweather to stop JCC by accumulation ?

                      How many times?

Phillips had one of the best right hands in business, he also has to take some some monster shots himself before scoring that TKO.

Vince Phillips is a better puncher than Mayweather. Phillips did not come from 130lbs you know.

See how long Mayweather pounded on Gatti ? he did not hurt him once, they stopped the fight because he was taking too many blows to the head etc.
