Hmmm....I want to say Holmes, but Weaver and Norton gave him hell. Liston was a very good technical boxer with the punching power of Mike Weaver. Holmes had a quicker, snappier jab but Liston had a harder more punishing jab. With both at their best, I go with Holmes by UD. I think Holmes had the edge in styles.

Liston, without a doubt. Holmes was in a very weak era, and he actually got 2-3 gifts in his prime vs journeymen. He just came along at the right time, but in reality, he is just a poor man's Kevin "the Kingpin" Johnson. Nash out.

There is no "data base" its a matter of opinion, again learn what data and facts are. You can make an argument for either man...I happen to think Liston wins it. Go dig up some dead threads and argue with ghosts... People that can't call you out in being rididculous because they are no longer here...
