I think Mayweather could have performed in any era but in the '30s and '40s he would not have been a crowd favorite E.g. Burley, and would have fought before small crowds and likely not given a title shot.

Viewed as a tough fight who couldn't put butts in seats; a tough fight for small money not worth wasting a title defense on; he would have been ignored/ducked (word choice is your call: how you want to evaluate the fight game.)

His style was too defensive, too boring for the 1930s. Willie Pep was a defensive genius but could light up crowds with non stop action when the moments to go offensive arose - Floyd was too methodical; effective as hell but most times so boring.

Obviously most of the blowhards here haven't seen Pretty Boy Floyd fight film. He was anything but boring at his natural weight, prior to the hand problems,

Are there youtube cerliberties in your scenario? If not your Paul brothers would have been working county fairs in Kansas; it's the same thing.

Logan Paul would have lasted 8 rounds with a 44-year-old Henry Armstrong too.

Or with whatever 1930's equivalent you want to bring up.
