Yes, until George had a good showing vs Holyfield his comeback was viewed as a joke. George fooled us all and was a considerably better fighter than Rud****.Comment

Razor was considered an Heir apparent for the heavyweight crown(s). Its kind of strange what happened with him. He started out big, strong, great punching selection and became a one armed fighter, who stuck around long enough to beat a few good fighters and lose a few... while never being outclassed.
I seriously would implore anyone trying to get a handle on Ruddock to at least peruse the Wiki link about him:
His career is a tapestry weaved out of inconsistent and occasionally brilliant performances. His fights against Tyson were monumental... a back and fourth ensued with the real possibility of Tyson losing in the later rounds. People tend to underestimate his talent probably because his commitment waned. I know that Juggernaught666 and myself have both expressed an appreciation for the big Canadian Bomclat!Comment

Early on he made waves with his brutal ko of Dokes. However he was always a one punch fighter. Everything he did was to land his weird left hook/uppercut.
I found both his bouts with Tyson relatively one sided. Again Rudduck did all he could to land that one punch he had but he was hooking with a faster better shorter left hooker. Never a good idea and he was countered all night in both bouts. He shook Tyson up a few times but Mike won most rounds.
Rudduck in the end never learned how to fight.Comment

- -Nobody with a lick of sense thought the Razor whom Tyson BTFO twice was gonna beat Lewie, but of course that wouldn't include the 90% grazing herd of boxing writers. Maybe the undefeated Razor might've pulled the trick, but that fight never happened because Lewie no more than a promising prospect at that point in the pro ranks.Comment
