Had Tyson not gone to prison, this would have been a tremendous fight. Rid**** Bowe was one of the best tall fighters to fight inside. For tyson to beat Bowe, he would have to ko Bowe within three rounds. If the fight went past 5 rounds, Bowe's jab and uppercuts would begin to wear Tyson down and eventually stop him late. that's if the fight took place in 1992. I believe it was Bowe's appetite and willingness to fight inside too much that had him washed up at 29. Gun to my head, if they fought in 92, Bowe by 11th round stoppage
Prime Bowe would beat prime Tyson

Ruddock did not stand up to him, Ruddock just stayed in there as long as he could and took a pounding, Douglas was actually standing his ground and asking questions of Tyson. Ruddock threw a couple of flurries at the end of 1/2 rounds that made it look like he was resisting but anyone with an obervant eye knows that he just flurried at the end of couple rounds and was a punchbag for the rest, plus Ruddock was no where near as good as Bowe.Comment

People act like it was a tough fight, its was for Ruddock but Mike had a field day it was like hitting heavy bag for him, Ruddock never asked questions that Douglas and Holyfield asked of him he just took some good shots and toughed it out.Comment

Tyson typically was easy to clinch and contain inside, and with a guy Bowe's size and as good as he is inside that is an advantage for Rid**** to fight inside. As with every Tyson comparison, Tyson would have to get Bowe out early or he would get worn down and KOed.Comment

Rid**** Bowe only struggled with outside fighters Tyrell Biggs, Tony Tubbs, Andrew Golota 1 and 2, Evander Holyfield 2. On the inside he was great and i think he would be too big and his uppercuts would land too often.
Someone mentioned Frank Bruno, Razor Ruddock. Razor Ruddock was a hard hitter but he had very lazy offense, and he only really had one punch and that was the smash.
And Frank Bruno was a hard hitting also, but he had no inside fighting skills. As it showed when he kept holding and hitting, Mike Tyson not knowing what to do on the inside.Comment

Why do you even bother creating threads? You know absolutely nothing about either fighter's career's yet you make a baseless prediction on a silly mythical match up.To talk about history, you must learn and understand history and this applies to boxing history also,Something you know nothing about.
