If they fought 10 times I'd have Tyson winning 6 of 10. For the most part Tyson would just inflict too much damage against Bowe's suspect defense for Rid**** to come out on top in a series. Bowe has a great chin but that's not going to stop the ref from stepping in a rescuing him from more punishment: You don't have to have 10 counted over you to get stopped.

Tyson was still prime against Douglas and was destroyed. Bowe was always a better fighter than Douglas and had a better uppercut which Buster was able to use with great success. Tyson always struggled when stood up against.

By the way, the Holyfield who fought Tyson wasn't prime either and still beat him.

Good to see you two fighting together. THATS ironic!

Tyson was not at his best when he fought Douglas.

Bowe may have been a better fighter than Douglas but Tyson beat alot of fighters that were better than Douglas. So thats irrelevent, so is comparing Douglas beating Tyson and Bowe being able to beat him, Douglas may have been a worse fighter overall but he had the right style to beat Tyson, Bowe does not. Styles make fights.

I have to respectfully disagree my friend. Bowe's style was similar to Douglas only he was faster, hit harder and was better schooled and more consistent overall. Tyson was a beast, but he never showed the fortitude to lay it on the line in a grueling fight against a man that would stand up to him.

I really dont see the similarity between Bowe and Douglas, Douglas jabbed and moved. I dont buy into the theory that Tyson couldnt beat someone who stood up to after Ruddock being my main example of that. Guess we are going to have to disagree here.

The similarities are that both possessed long hard jabs with good right hands and uppercuts. I personally think Bowe did all the above better than Buster did too. On top of this Bowe was a helluva inside fighter.

Ruddock was a one handed fighter who was there to be hit and was ko'd every time he stepped up in comp, except the second Tyson fight.

Im a Tyson fan, I just don't like the match up here. So I guess we'll have to agree to disagree, but you're still my man.

A prime Tyson hits harder than a prime Holyfield. Im not sure if Holyfield's knockdown of Bowe in the 3rd fight was because of Bowe's poor shape or just his power, but regardless Tyson would do a lot of damage on the inside.
