Prime Bowe would beat prime Tyson

Bowe was the more refined in-fighter than Tyson, who despite his ability to do serious damage up close, could be really lazy in there as well. Bowe was terrific with his uppercuts, a key punch against a smaller swarmer. He had pretty good hand speed, a significant height and reach advantage, guts, a nice jab.
That being said, I think he loses. Bowe's defense was ass. He loved to brawl it out and would get hit hard, clean, and often. Bowe's chin was good, but he also rarely faced any big punchers. The bigger punchers he did face doesn't give you the most confidence in his chances against Tyson. Hide hurt Bowe every time he tagged him clean. Golota hurt him repeatedly. Holyfield was a decent puncher at HW, more of his damage done because of timing and accuracy than raw power. He hurt Bowe in the first fight and nearly took him out in the rubber match.
Bowe would get hit too often and too clean, and get stopped, I think.Comment

Bowe zero defense. Bowe life and death with smallish Holyfield who doesn't have power. Tyson proven to be able to slug with huge fighters(Ruddock, Bruno). Tyson by KO in the opening seconds of round 1 (which means Tyson would win thoroughly).
Like I said, Bowe only beats Tyson in a pie eating contest.Comment

****** logic as usual. The triangle theory doesn't work and anybody who knows of it knows that, You should also try reading the title of this thread "Prime Bowe would beat prime Tyson" meaning Tyson would also be in his prime and only a clown would believe that Tyson fought Holyfield in his prime and I'll take a wild guess and throw you in with the other clowns
Also do not seek to be intentionally ironic, It's getting old now or perhaps you really are that blind and ******
I responded to your thread you dork, How exactly is that sticking it to my face?(what does that eve mean?)
I gather you have no idea what decrepit actually means so I'll spare you the embarrasment of explaining the termComment

Bowe beat Holy, who beat Tyson.
This dumb **** is calling me ****** while he still believes in triangle theories
I suppose Foreman would have destroyed Ali as well because he beat the 2 lads that beat Ali? Right? I mean Bowe DID beat Holyfield(And also actually LOST to Holyfield, don't forget that, old man) who beat Tyson which means he would beat Tyson as well.
And I didn't say those fighters were better than Bowe, old man. I'm saying Tyson has slugged and beaten big men who were some of the hardest hitters ever, and proved to be succesfull. In the meantime Bowe lost and was knocked down, and sometimes almost stopped by a Cruiserweight who didn't have a big punch.
You do the fookin math, old man.Comment

Lads, I have just remembered that Golota destroyed Bowe 2 times. And Tyson actually made Golota quit!
So this must mean, according to old man Jab, that Tyson WOULD beat Bowe because of this. Mystery solved.Comment

Tyson hasn't koed that many opponents with one punch. The only one I can think of is Etienne. And he was crap! And Spinks, who was shaking with fear.Comment

Or when he knocked out the pitbull Qawi?Holyfield doesn't possess one punch ko power, but that doesn't mean he has NO power! Bowe fought the best Holyfield in the first two fights. Wether he won the third because Holyfield ran out of gas or not is not certain. But he beat him clearly the first time.

I believe he had almost 20 one punch ko's in his career.
Now run along and stay quiet lad.Comment

There were 2 occasions where he punched Foreman over 20 times in a row. If he didn't hurt him then he'd be a softer puncher than Byrd. Nevertheless put Tyson in that position and Foreman is OUT. Are you seriously trying to debate wether Holyfield could hit harder than Tyson?
How did he beat him? He could have beaten him much easier but because of his ****ty defense and willingness to slug he was almost taken out himself. Against Tyson it's not going to work, mate.
And that just shows your lack of boxing knowledge.
