George Foreman. He beat better opponents in his prime than Tyson did. And either beat or gave a tough fight to some pretty big name boxers when he was old.

Being the oldest heavyweight champion in my opinion is a record that will never be broken. Then again, Tyson’s record for youngest heavyweight champ probably isn’t getting broken either.

Floyd Patterson is the youngest HW Champion by two months. Tyson WAS NOT HW Champion until he stopped Michael Spinks.

Scantioning belts and undisputed is for the casuals and HBO; fans like us know to respect the lineal crown when it can be respected.

Fitz sat on the tile for three years before he gave Jeffries a fight. Dempsey three . . .

I was thinking the other day, almost started a new thread, as to which HW Champions got to live the best post fight lives; which the worst.

Bowe a candidate for one of the worst and was thinking Lewis for one of the best.

He comes across not only still lucid, but cultured as well. I thought he would be the type of man to stay in shape.
