Foreman could probably beat Tyson now, too.

Douglas had the shortest prime of any heavyweight champion. ONE FIGHT. He came into the ring prepared vs a unfocused and unready Tyson. How Douglas would have done against the best Tyson is certainly debatable.
Ali made all his opponents look better than they really were. Frazier, Norton, Patterson, Foreman, Liston, Lyle, Young, Folley, Bonavena, Quarry, Cleveland have all been mythologized to be far superior than they actually were. In reality they are the peers of Brewster, Thompson, Austin, Mavrovic, Mercer, Tua, Byrd, etc.
Alis resume is no better than any other great dominant HWT champ. But Ali's era got and still gets the most media attention and exposure. So his myth and resume are distorted.

On the other hand George Foreman beat Joe Fraizer and Ken Norton in dominant fashion so he has better top wins than Mike Tyson. Also losing to Ali can be more defendable than losing to Buster Douglas (Although Buster Douglas fought great and a loss to Jimmy Young is similar)

They both regained the title but Moorer was probably a better heavyweight than Bruno (A guy Mike Tyson already beat)

Both sides of the argument are good. Is Mike Tyson quantity enough to make up for George limited quantity but better quality?
Norton is bum who lost to every decent puncher ali Media hype make him decent fighter he shouldnt be in HAll of fame he doesnt count

George Foreman. He beat better opponents in his prime than Tyson did. And either beat or gave a tough fight to some pretty big name boxers when he was old.

Being the oldest heavyweight champion in my opinion is a record that will never be broken. Then again, Tyson’s record for youngest heavyweight champ probably isn’t getting broken either.

                - - Don't forget they almost met in the middle of their careers save for the International Tragedy of Tiananmen Square.

That has never happened before and won't ever happen again.

Something along the lines of this, except I see young foreman bullying and stopping young Tyson.

Holyfield almost broke it. It's not a record that will last 100 years
