Accomplishments may or may not reveal ability as someone can accomplish a lot against weak opposition while someone else can accomplish less against a murders row but still be considered the better fighter.

Skill is only one part of the equation. Attibutes is a better term: Skills are one of those attributes. As for Fitzsimmons I've done quite a bit of research on him and how boxing historians have regarded him and his abilities. It's only relatively recently that people have developed such distain for pre-1960 fighters.

Because, as I said before, accomplishments are only one of many factors that go into how I rank fighters with ability being the most important. That's why I rank Sonny Liston over Rocky Marciano despite the fact that Liston made only one successful defense of the Heavyweight title while Marciano made six and retired undefeated.

What are your thoughts on Jeff Chandler and Micky Walker?

I have Walker at #16 on my Middleweight ATG list. If that seems low, bear in mind I have 22 fighters I rank as ATGs in that weight class: The Middleweight division is historically VERY deep. Now I haven't seen much footage of Walker unfortunately but from everything I've read he was an excellent fighter.

Chandler is my #32 all-time Bantamweight. I've had the pleasure of watching a number of his fights and I can say that I believe him to be a truly terrific fighter.

What were Chandler's best weapons as a fighter?

His counter-punches. Now: What's the point of the constant questions? When someone plays this sort of thing I smell a troll.

Just interested in learning about some of the ATG fighters. And considering that you seem to have saw alot of him, what better person to ask.

                      Problem?
