Interesting as 147 is usually considered Hearn's best weight.

It's just a personal observation really.. I'd say Hearns had a better resume at welter, but looked stronger & more comfortable at light middle.. I wish he'd stayed there a bit longer & fought the likes of McCallum, Jackson, Mugabe & Norris.. I think he could of cemented his resume at 154...

Ah! But then I'd have to rank him as a Middleweight since I don't recognize the "Junior" and "Super" in between weight classes

Nah, I'm "Old-School Eight" all the way baby! Just because the alpahabet bois want to fatten their coffers by doubling the number of title fights doesn't mean I have to play along

I'm an old 8 man but my excuse is I'm an old fart lol.
Got to say though that I can handle some of the in betweeny weights better than others, namely Cruiser, Super Middle and Junior Welter. Some of the titchy ones really irritate me especially in these days of day before weigh ins.
My real bugbear is the alphabets, I like 1 champion and a top 10. How a fighter can be number one challenger according to one body and number 20 in another is beyond me.

                I'd go along with that.
Bit like my liking Fitz at LHW no real evidence to support it for sure but just a feeling that is the weight that would suit him best.
