It's a tough fight. Hearns had an uncommon blend of height, speed, boxing skills, he had coordination along with that devastating power.

Tommy had some flaws as well that were extreme enough to cost him fights. Sugar Ray is gonna be eye to eye with Tommy. His usual height advantage only a slight one with Robinson

On paper Tommy Hearns beats everyone but Sugar Ray had his own God Given magic that took a backseat to not a soul. Robinson didn't have those glaring weaknesses. He was pretty complete.

The biggest edge Robinson has is his Ring IQ. He knew what he had to do and when to do it. If you hurt him he always got through it and survived it.

The way Ray Robinson approached boxing I suspect he would view Hearns as a threat. Tommy may get the George "Sugar" Costner treatment. Costner
was 6ft tall. with speed and excellent power. One thing is certain when Sugar buzzes him the fight won't go much longer. Probably not gonna need a count.
