Yeah you're right. It's been a long time since i saw that fight.

I was watching Jackson/Mclellan the other day, and it reminded me how underrated that fight actually is. Bombs being thrown all over the place.

One of those rare fights (along with Gomez/Zarate) where two of the biggest punchers of an era actually met in the ring.

Hearns' IMO. It was the only fight in Duran's 100 plus fights that he ended up horizontally. Other than this fight, Roberto had displayed a steel chin throughout his career.

Duran ate a lot of leather from Barkley and nothing fazed him. He had trouble in the 8th yes, but he was never really in trouble of gouing out. Thats Duran's chin for you. And for Hearns to do that to Duran, it was very special.

Duran and Graham in terms of chin? I'll take Duran anytime...

jacksons looked more brutal maybe, but the quality of the fighters chins must be taken into account

A very special fighter indeed. Someone of that power only comes around once in a while i don't think we will see anyone who hits as hard as he did for a few years.

Agreed. Graham must have been out for a week it seemed, while Duran was a tough SOB who was just unfortunately tailor made for Hearns.

Jackson had heavyweight ko power, probably one of (if not thee) hardest p4p punchers ever.

He came from the long line of the Jackson family, boxers.
