At Welterweight Robinson is just a monster, 6'1 tough as nails, good power and speed to.

Robinson vs Leonard would be great.

Robinson was 5"11', but I agree him and Leonard would have been a great fight that could go either way.

P4p all are awesome fighters. At 147 I think both Sugars are head and shoulders above the rest. Jmo.

Its all good. I'd like to lean towards Leonard in this fight, but its more a feeling than anything I think could be argued with concrete proof. Both weree fast and hit hard. Both elusive and fought great comp. This is like the dream match.

Lenord had good power until he injured them on numerous occasions, if you hear how he was like in the amatuers it seems he didnt have that kind of power later in the career.

Robsinson would rule them all of course, best fighter in history so far.

Someone had mentioned a Robinson Vs. Hearns matchup. I think it's compelling but only if Tommy doesn't try and play the "Hit Man" and go after Robinson: Fighters who tried that sort of thing on Ray got destroyed. If Hearns uses his jab and moves like he was capable of then things get interesting. With a significant reach advantage and a superior jab when he wanted to use it Hearns could give Robinson fits for much of the fight, sufficiently so to make the outcome very much in doubt if it made it to the cards. My bet in this scenerio is Ray catches Tommy late in similar fashion to the way Leonard did, probably after bringing Hearns' guard down with body punches.

I got Leonard. I'm one of those that think that he can beat SRR, sue me. Here's another post of mine concerning the same topic:

As much as I dislike him, my vote goes for Sugar Ray Leonard. Although I would say Hearns is a close second. People say crappy chin this crappy chin that, but the fact of the matter is that he only lost twice in his prime: To Leonard, a boxer much faster than him and to Hagler, a boxer much stronger than him. He beat everybody else in his prime.
