I have never boxed as there was never a boxing gym in my area.The youth centre at that time ran the odd boxing,karate class every now and then but nothing more than that.

I already had done,but you did a very good job in dumbing down that thread.There's only so many times that I can explain how frazier and his suspect chin avoided virtually every puncher of his generation to take on less risky challengers.You argue that he fought Ali and how he stepped in the ring with foreman for a rematch and yet you refuse to acknowledge that there was much to gain and not much to lose.

Answer the question, if this domestic squabble was as bad as you'd like us to believe, why did the aunt never call an ambulance or Horne seek medical attention? Nobody said Lyle was unworthy. But the FACT is he was fighting tomato cans at that particular time and the time line simply doesn't fit. If you think it does be my guest and reconfigure it. And as I said, Bugner was a top 10 fighter. It also seems you have no problem with Lyle fighting rthat same "shot" Ellis just a year earlier, but want to hold it against Joe even though Jimmy's style was more suitable for getting ready for the Ali rematch.
