Ruben Olivares was one of the most brutal inside fighters ever.

Olivares was a great fighter. His fights with Bobby Chacon are legendary.

I'm supprise no one mention Jack Dempsey? He was brutal in the inside and oftenly fought at close range.

Carlos Palomino was a great medium range/inside fighter.

His fight with Duran was a great showcase of inside-fighting.

Tyson could definetly fight inside, but I've always considered him more of a mid range fighter. I will say his footwork was quick and beautiful on the inside. I use to love the way he would pivot and or step to the side to create angles.

Tyson is a mid range counter puncher as weird as that sounds. He clinched and did nothing on the inside most times, even in his prime.

When Tyson wasn't clinching or getting clinched on the inside he was deady with his short range combo's. But yeah, over all I agree he was more a mid range fighter.

Tyson was not an inside fighter. Rewatch his fights and reference Them_Apples post on this subject: Tyson was a mid-range fighter who clinched on the inside. Now he had the potential to be a great inside fighter but there is a huge difference between having potential and actually realizing that potential.
