He also couldn't hang with the actual top level boxers, Tua and a healthy Holyfield, both of which stopped him in less rounds.
Moorer wasnt "The" champion of his time.

Nope you're remembering **** wrong, best moorer could do was MD a dehydrated Holyfield with kidney stones and heart problems, moorer is best remembered as the guy who outboxed for 10 straight rounds, but got caught with a few shots that put him down, a guy that had 30 lbs on him.

Moorer is later remembered as being Knocked Out by Ol'Man George well past his best whose final fight put young stud Briggs in the hospital with rope burns on his back after fleeing for his life for 12 rds. Moorer was the champion in his moment, not Tubby Lar who's title record vs standing champs holding a title won in the ring is 0-6, 0 KO as I like to hammer down the sad truth of Lar who also was never a ranked fighter when George was active and ranked.
The Lar comeback was a George Wannabee comeback that had an equally sad ending when Lar mistakenly challenged Butterbean only to be mocked and ultimately knocked down in his last moment as a professional fighter.
That's OK these days when the shame of the shameless of modern peoples is the new truth of the world as U demonstrate...Comment

Not footwork wise he wasn't. - Cleaner, less round house to his punches I can agree with. Big George II threw a better punch, was a better boxer. That I can agree with. But speed of foot was gone. Big George I was actually quick on his feet for a 'giant.'Comment

Leaving the ring after the Young fight, Foreman had his breakdown in the dressing room.
I’ve been wondering, in what condition was his mental health, stepping into the ring.
Young, I liked. As Houdini563 writes, “he could not break an egg with his punches”, yet
belonged among the top ranked for several years. Sadly, one of those guys whose ring
career never received any rewards. Instead, it had him pay a high price in the end.
