Very Nice list i agree with basically all the people in it, and only disagree with a few placements! It was well thought out and it seems fairly done!

However i have some issues with his Awards

    * Best Left Hook: Jack Dempseym - Disagree has to be either Tyson Or Frazier
    * Best Uppercut: George Foreman - Tyson?
    * Best Finisher: Joe Louis - Againt Tyson
    * Best Conditioned: Rocky Marciano - Frazier Is very Close
    * Best Chin: Muhammad Ali - Holmes Had a Brilliant Chin, was it better?

You should Post this in the top 10 heavys sticky!.

Dempsey had an excellent left hook, but I too would go with Frazier.

Tyson and Foreman are close in the uppercut department. a pick for either is respectable in my opinion.

Best finisher is without a doubt Joe Louis in my opinion. Tyson was good, as were many others, but Louis was the best. An efficient assassin as there has ever been or ever will be.

Conditioned, Rocky. But I wouldn't argue a call for Frazier.

Best chin, Ali. Holmes was good, and not mentioned enough, but Ali's chin took bombs from some of the biggest punchers in heavyweight history.

Marciano should be on that list. Dempsey should not and I probably would have Tyson just below top 10 too.

I never expect to agree 100 percent with anybodys list because they are so subjective. Best hook I would say Frazier. Can't really argue with the others but Frazier could be a good choice for conditioning. With Ali, I can't argue best chin at all. Holmes was dropped by Shavers, Ali was not. And Shavers hit Ali every bit as hard as he did Holmes. No way was Holmes chin better than Ali's, but it was very good. Lennox Lewis had as good an uppercut as anybody too.

I disagreed with some things. For instance, rating Jake Lamotta at 10 at middleweight, but not even rating Sugar Ray Robinson there. Granted, I wouldn't put him near his top 6, but I think he belongs in the top 10. Robinson might of been old, but he beat some good people there.

I think my middleweight structure looks like this:

            1. Marvin Hagler
            2. Harry Greb
            3. Carlos Monzon
            4. Bob Fitzsimmons
            5. Stanly Ketchel
            6. Bernard Hopkins
            7. Charley Burley
            8. Ray Robinson
            9. **** tiger
            10. Jake Lamotta

I found his heavyweight list probably the most I disagreed with. Foreman at 3 and Liston at 5, but Ali is still at 2? I also found it weak he didn't rank the other newer divisions. Maybe not making a top 10, but atleast make a top 5.

I do like how he rated modern fighters in there and found most of the stuff I ageed with.

I think Marvin Hagler is the best MW there ever was so he is a bit low for mine. And obviously I am biased as all **** but Roy should be higher than 8 at LHW or whatever he had him at. I don't mind his HW rankings though.

Maybe i havent watched enough Louis fights, ill have to look at some more, im sure he was a awsome finisher.
As for chin i would probably agree it was better than Holmes, but man every time i watch holmes get up from that Shavers shot im shocked!!

Here's a good highlight of Louis.

Mike Tyson talks about Joe Louis:

No question about Holmes' chin and heart, he could fight.

Nice vid Manchine! Just curious, but have you seen the triple left hook that Louis threw on Buddy Baer (I think) in their second fight? I didn't catch it in that video, but it was just an amazing thing to see from a big guy with such power.
