  • Fighters who began their careers with long winning streaks?

I was just watching Chavez-Taylor, and at the start it says that Chavez's 66 consecutive wins from the start of his career is the 4th best in history. Who are/were the top 3?

I'm also interested in hearing of any others who had impressive winning streaks.

Jimmy Wilde (92-0), Jaime Gine (69-0, not a top level boxer).

      Nino Benvenuti was 65-0.

Ray Robinson won 88 fights in a row after losing to LaMotta (Robinson's record was 128-1 when he lost to Turpin).

Willie Pep lost one very close (4-5,4-5,4-6) fight in his first 136 fights (Willie was 62-0 leading up to that fight,) with one draw, before losing to the much larger Sandy Sadler. Oh yeah and Willie was in a near fatal plane crash during this streak.
