He was a lot bigger than him, that's why, plus Robinson was green at that point.

        Exactly.

Robinson wasn't all that green when he lost to Jake.

Maybe still improving, but he had a good 40 pro fights to his credit, and against excellent opposition.

I'd have to go with Frazier, followed by Duran, Tyson, and of course, my man Manny Pacquiao.

Frazier was just the master of the aggressor's role. He never was deterred in his mission, never was forced to move back, and kept plugging along regardless of the incoming flack. Frazier had more balls than any other fighter.

You can really measure courage. You can't really say that Frazier had more heart than guys like Dempsey, Marciano, Holyfield, etc. All four of thse guys had heart, so you can't really say that one had more heart than the other.

In the sense that guys like Holyfield and Marciano knew when to avoid danger, sure I could. I never even saw Frazier go into any kind of survival mode the way I had seen these other guys. It's something else, maybe it might just be ******ity, who knows.

Frazier turned away from Foreman and ran when he was getting smashed in their fight. Foreman then hits him on the back of the head. Everyone is human. Frazier had as much heart as anyone but not more than Dempsey, Holyfield, or Marciano,

I agree, no doubt. I just think that Frazier showed exceptional valor in tougher fights than Dempsey or Holyfield had been in, with maybe an exception to Marciano.

All these years, I didn't like Marciano because I had dismissed him as another white hope with a questionable reign. Truth is, Marciano was an exceptional fighter who overcame some serious drama inside the ropes to remain champion. I have a lot of respect for Marciano.
