Who's your favarite slugger? The guys that just come foward, working non stop. On a list like this I'd have Marvelous Marvin Hagler at the top.
    Who would You pick?

Hagler did not fight like that. He was a versatile boxer-puncher who liked to use movement, and box behind his southpaw jab.

    Anyway:

    Tyson, Duran, Chavez.

lol!!! Good call on Hagler. Many newer fans only remember his performance in the Hearns fight.

For me, Frazier, Duran, Chavez, Zak Padilla, Jack Dempsey, though he could box when he had too in his youth.

Hey, we all have to start somewhere. Hagler, if faced with an aggressive fighter, was quite the technician, a counterpuncher, really. His fight with Bennie Briscoe is a good example. Also, against Mugabi, even though he was past his best, it was "The Beast" who pressed the action.

Hagler was a rahter deep fighter, and well rounded; but to be sure, if he had to press the action, he would and could do so quite effectively. When he was younger, though, that wasn't his M.O.

              Mugabi, Antufermo, Hart, Sibson, etc...

Hagler loved to circle around, use lateral movement, and jab guys silly. He had a good variety of punches and mixed it up well upstairs and down, but the right jab was often the cornerstone of his offense.

Everyone remembers the brawling (round 6 esp.) with Mugabi in the trenches, but Hagler spent a lot of that fight circling and jabbing Mugabi silly.

I'll have to go with Gman. Man what a bully. He was so strong and always had his opponents covering on the ropes. Thats a powerfull slugger for ya.
I love David Tua aswell. Tyson lacked the strenght to bully his foes around. The physical strenght that is.

Erik Morales (although he's a good boxer too).
