On September 28th at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada - two Colombian light heavyweight fighters will be on the ring in a tough fight when Edison "Pantera" Miranda 35-8-0 faces his countryman Eleider Alvarez 12-0 in the co-main event of the card where the WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson faces Tavoris Cloud.

Miranda is being trained by Herman Caicedo in Florida and for this fight, Miranda established his training camp in the Iron Mike Productions Gym in Deerfield Beach for more than 8 weeks to get in great physical condition.

"We training here at the Iron Mike Productions Gym and we are very good in all aspects, we have the support of the guys in this gym like Lenin Castillo, Humberto Savigne and Robert Alfonso who helped me a lot in preparing for this fight ... No way will I lose, I'm going to Canada confident of victory," Miranda said. "He (Alvarez) is a boy like me, grew up in a very poor family and the color of our skin is the same. We will give the fans a great fight and I hope to get a decisive victory. I have experience and that's important, I fought in major events transmitted by Showtime and HBO, and the words of Andre Ward are an indication of my quality. Ward said that he didn't feel like he was one of the best until he defeated me and you should remember that Ward is considered as one of the best pound for pound in the world."
