When Lomachenko first came onto the scene his footwork was so different, it was classified as great. His movement in the ring was excellent. It looked like he could smack any fighter at will with his hands. But some people got too carried away with what they thought they were seeing. Some folks saw Loma as the greatest fighter in the world, past present and future. But better than Ali, please.. All those great things we thought we were looking at was just fools gold. As he grew heavier in weight his abilities dwindled and as he got older it really showed. Though Loma has a style that looks unbeatable, it is not and he's not Pacquiao. As Pacquiao grew in weight he took his skills with him. Therefore, if a few people do crap all over Lomachenko its only because a lotta fight fans sadly thought he could walk on water. Vasily and his crazy azz fan base had to be brought back down to earth. Lomachenko is a good little fighter as long as he stayed in the lower weight divisions. All that dancin and the off set moves he did @ the lower weight divisions was second to none. He looked tenative & sorta scared of Teofimo for at least 5 or 6 rounds til he warmed up, but he's just never been able to take his skill set with him. Now his fights are controversial.

The boxing commission and the wbc, wbo, wba or the ibf can't leave boxing to a bunch of fans common sense because the public aren't following these fighters the way the sanctioning bodies are following them.

Just because a champion can pay their mandatory challenger some "step-aside-money" doesn't mean there is no- consistency in regulation, the mandatory challenger doesn't have to accept the money. And if he doesn't accept the champion's step-aside-money the champion must fight, or be stripped, vacate or move up or down.
