True fans of boxing want are sport clean and blood testing is a step in the right direction.
I agree, and I hope the testing standards will apply to all boxers in the future.
Just to be clear: I think Pacquiao should agree to the demands and take the strictest testing procedures possible (along with Mayweather.) No disagreements about that whatsoever.
I just wanted to add to the discussion that the conclusions a lot of people are jumping to about Manny are not necessarily warranted; I was trying to draw parallels to other situations in our culture.
I'm happy to defend (and change) my view on the matter. So far, I haven't heard anyone draw a clear distinction between what is happening to Pacquiao with the examples I mentioned in the topic. Just wanted to open it up for discussion.
I'd urge Nike Phats to study Tim Smith (the article writer); he's an apologist and sympathizer for Mayweather, a long-time skeptic of Pacquiao's career, and a critic of his best performances, dating right back to the wars he had with Morales years ago.
If you listen to his picks and sound bites, you do sense a pronounced bias.
Regardless, let's hear more from this source that he has. If there's any authenticity here, something more credible will come out about what's really going on behind the negotiations.
