Boxing vs. MMA Rules
Mayweather has a better chance of beating Connor with MMA rules than connor has a chance of beating him in boxing.
Oh NO he doesn't!
This might be a huge mistake for Tszyu. Fundora is such a problem. A 6'5" non-stop punching machine. Tszyu better start at his body and not stop until the later rounds of a tough fight!
I wonder how Hagler (5'8") would have handled Fundora
Possible. I didn't miss that Bam moved down when Nakatani moved up either. Junto is really sharp, great variety of punches, and very long and good at using his reach. I think he's going to be one of the elite around 115-118.
But I don't really think that Ioka ducks guys. Not really his style. Ducking Nakatani to correct a draw and then gunning for the top guy, who is often acknowledged as P4P? Not like he's fighting trash opponents instead of Nakatani, which is what ducking looks like.
Risk vs. reward. Fight the top guy, yes.
Fight a dangerous Nakatani, no.
I admire young Tszyu’s bravery and desire to mix it up with a p4p fighter but I just can’t see him going the distance with Charlo
Me neither... cause Charlo won't make it 12...
no one is quick enough for Inoue and Tapales is hardly quicker than Fulton he is going to get demolished
set your VCR for the fight to record it and remind in here after how it went
It sounds like your VCR is still not working correctly.
Tapales is quicker and more dangerous than Fulton.
Not saying he will win, but should be more competitive.
I think this is something ALL of us saw coming. Either Jermell would vacate because the fight makes no money and/or he's going on hiatus, or IBF would strip him. Hopefully the IBF quickly orders Murtazaliev vs. whoever decides to fight him.
Four years in the mandatory position... has anyone ever waited longer?
They both look in pretty good shape. Should make for an interesting affair, until Martin gets clipped I do expect him to give the young Anderson some troubles from distance out of the southpaw stance. Charles should have stayed on to fight the Big eastern euro dude who is only 3-0. He had a real shot there. hopefully they offered him decent money for this fight.
Has Martin ever looked this fit?
Ppl are sleeping on Santiago he was robbed against Russell kid can fight and Nonito being 40 it might not turn out his way.
Not only that -- look at his draws, almost all on the road against undefeated fighters:
*in Puerto Rico twice
*against an undefeated Nieves, who he just beat
*and Ancajas
Donaire in DANGER!!
Loma will struggle with Naka I agree, he as been out of training and injured for months, let's remember that Loma struggled with Campbell and Pedraza at 135, Naka at this point is bigger threat than both IMO.
I would not be surprised if a sloppy Loma kinda wins a close decision.
Chance of a lifetime for Nakatani, and he earned it.
Would not be surprised if he wins.
