Arguello is top 20 all time in my book. I grew up watching many of his fights on tv in the 80's. One of the classiest men in and out of the ring we will ever see. This is no lie,and you younguns will rip on me,but,I cried when he lost to Pryor. After he hit Pryor with that MONSTER upercut in the first fight that would have kod an elephant,I knew he wasn't going to win. Anyway,RIP,Alexis. We'll not see the likes of you ever again. As far as some of you comparing him to ODH,sorry,but,Oscar couldnt carry Arguello's jockstrap.
Rough few weeks here for me. Lost my Mother 2 weeks ago,then,I have to hear about my favorite fighter of all time dying. Whether it was suicide or whatever,the man was the epitome of class,and,like Mayan Sun above stated,his form,his skill in that ring,well,it was just an blessing in my life to have watched him fight on tv while he was still active. My prayers to his family during a time that is quite difficult. God Rest His Soul....
RIP Gatti. You know,it's sad that this happened to him,as it did to McNair,but,both of these guys did something to provoke their deaths. I'm not condoning them being murdered,but,we have NO clue what goes on in the inside of these relationships. All we see is what the media presents to us. We're not intimites to know all. I thought I had read that Gatti had gotten arrested before for spousal abuse. As for Mcnair,if he had been home with his wife and kids,instead of F'ing around with some other woman,he'd still be alive.Yeah,these guys brought us many hours of entertainment,but,please,let's not make them out to be gods...

Two great fights if they ever come off! I personally think the Klitschko-Arreola fight will be a war while it lasts. Arreola has some serious pop,Klitschko has the whiskers,but,he is 38 years old. Don't be surprised it goes 12,with lots of blood lost. As for Williams-Pavlik,as long as he doesn't get caught,Williams can win the decision. Pavlik has some heavy hands,and,we don't know what a middleweight's pop Williams can take.:boxing:
