Listen when you order a PPV nothing is guarenteed thats the risk you take. Anything can happen boxing... Yeah, that is definitely true. But it is the same for almost all of his fights.(BORING!) I am not downing the guy, but there is a reason why he has languished in obscurity. Most people would take a nap rather than watch his fights. If you want to appeal to only boxing purists then you will probably end up with a decent FridayNightFights audience. Very few people would pay to see him fight someone other than a marquee name... I see why folks don't want to fight him. If I take a risk and fight you then you have to take a risk and open it up a little bit... Zab boxed great but he opened it up to get the knockout!

Larry merchant does say some awkward things sometimes to fighters. I noticed the difference in his interviewing persona when he was interviewing each fighter. He was all smiles for Oscar and when he interviewed Bernard he was more abrupt and straight to the point. That is exactly my point. You should have the same demeanor and ask tough questions of both fighters. Anything other than that is unfair. How anyone can be negative to a fighter who handily won a fight is beyond me....

Mayweather and Pacquiao Employees Get out!!! No offense but there are too many comments by people connected to the two camps. I really want to hear comments from ordinary boxing fans and not promotion company employees or people who have a vested interest one way or the other. I realize you want to spin as much as possible but When you are so far on one side of the issue you (lost) credibility. If you could get off the boards and just read that would be great.. Mayweather v Pacquiao not gonna happen... Mayweather v Pacquiao not gonna happen... For two reasons... 1.Pacquiao not gonna submit to the drug testing. Not yet. In a year or so at the end of his career maybe...I have thoughts on whether he is clean but that is not for this conversation. 2.Floyd has replaced ODLH as the PPV king and no way he gives pacquiao 50% of the earnings. Arum and folks are eager to make the fight now but Golden Boy gonna stop them dead in their tracks. No 50-50!!! So us boxing fans will have to think up some more match-ups!!!
