Floyd did pursue Paul around the ring. Paul was hanging on desperately a lot of the time because he was exhausted. But I don't believe for one second that Mayweather held back or carried him for fun. Mayweather wanted the knockout, but couldn't get it because Paul was too big and Mayweather was too old.

To be fair to BJ, Dubois actually dropped to the ground (off a jab thrown by a guy who is unlikely to ever win a significant belt) and watched the ref count him out. After a vicious uppercut, BJ ran away from and groped Canelo (most likely #1 p4p) until the end of the round where his trainer allegedly called off the fight. Sizable difference IMO. It's still funny that the same injury he was slagging on another boxer about ended the biggest fight of his career. Then again it's not like he was going to win anyways. The difference was Dubois was in with a guy another level and had no answer for the a solid jab in the eye he took loads in the damaged eye and Dubois wasnt really competitive for 11 rounds and the eye was damaged for a while . He he held back on putting combinations together. He carried him for fun. The reason floyd doesn't compete is which he says he cant train everyday his body is in pain he said for this he trained 1 day and rested a few . For to be honest I expected floyd too look really old before but he looked sharp and if his body didn't have the pain and was able to do a full camp he would still have the skills to dominate anyone out there.
