275 pound weigh in...
Tyson Fury's strategy was simple, gain as much weight as possible knowing Wilder's legs are his weak point, lean on him round after round until his legs give out. As long as the referee allows him to do it and does not break them up and he is allowed to hit while clinching he probably can wear Wilder down until his legs give out...
The 300 pound recking ball
I disagree, Fury only won the fight because he used his 300 pounds to lean on Wilder until his legs were gone and then hit him while clinching. The killing thing is the referee allowed Fury to fight dirty without stopping him. Maybe if it was a clean fight Wilder may win in a rematch...
Wilder will be back, he has to work on his legs and focus a little more on technique but, everybody deserves a second chance even a double toothed giant like Fury...
300 hundred pound beast
I don't think it was the costume that wore Wilder's legs down, I believe it was a 300 hundred pound man leaning over him round after round that eventually wore his legs down. Why the referee allowed Fury to lean on Wilder round after round you have to ask him but, he should have been penalized. Fury is a dirty fighter...
I noticed that Fury was clinching excessively, I then I realized that maybe it was his strategy to pick up weight and lean on Wilder to see if he could wear Wilder down knowing his legs were weak. Fury was punching during and after clinches constantly. Wilder mentioned Bayless cautioned him about clinching and rabbit punches and told him he would be watching him and would penalize him if he was to do so. Why was Fury allowed to use the same tactics that Bayless warned Wilder about before the fight?
