How’s about a rematch on the undercard of the next AJ fight in April. It’d give Fury a fairer crack of the whip plus Wembley Stadium would be sold out anyway. Not sure how Wilder would handle a crowd that size though. With when exception of Saturday night He normally fights in half empty auditoriums
16,000 people StumbledUpon Duckua's fight on Da Zone lol - this is much worse. No one knows who the fook AJ is in America and the networks are forced to include him in questions.
Hahaha, most people in America don’t know who the fook Wilder is either. If AJ isn’t known or wouldn’t be a draw in the USA then why the hell would there be an alledged $50 million contract offer to unify the titles over there. American boxing for the large part is dead, you rely on a lot of Europeans and Central/South Americans to headline big PPV events. AJ will visit the USA eventually and punctuate the point we all already know, you guys are lacking in talent and need big names from overseas to make the sport of boxing more enticing to American followers
Callum Smith has struggled to fight anyone of note in the SMW division because anyone of note was scared to face him. Callum can box, has power in both hands and is a monster of an athlete for 168lbs. If Canelo fancies his chances he needs to be fair, normal rehydration clauses, no input in referee/judges. Build you legacy on the fighters you face not the manipulations your management team make
So, maybe off-topic, but what is up with "Liverpudlian" anyway?? Who in the hell came up with that?!? Why not plain old, logical "Liverpoolian" or "Liverpooler?" I'm sure its a nice place, but, honestly, I think I would move to the next town over rather than stand being called a Liverpudlian.
The next town over is Manchester, I’d rather have dysentery than go there dude. Very off topic. It’s a local thing I guess. ****neys are from London, Mancunians from Manchester, Geordies from Newcastle, Brummies are from Birmingham. Non of these nicknames have a logical point of reference. Being a Liverpool lad I prefer to be referred to as a Scouser.
Wilder has been looking to scuffle with Billy Joe Saunders in a Nando’s in Belfast, he better be careful though cause the middleweight champ poses a real threat, he’ll be the first world class name on wilders resume
Smith beats Groves either by late round stoppage or wide on points. Groves has had the tougher career so far and although he’s been good if late Smith is just to good all round.
Whoever wins this fight will still be the B side of any future fight with Anthony Joshua. AJ has fought in front of more than 250k people total for his last 3 fights, Wilder probably hasn’t reached that number in his total career fights. Wilder needs to accept that he’s not the main draw, sign the contract for £12.5 million and try to unify the division. Win, lose or draw he can then go back to earning his normal $3 million a fight for bashing bums around the ring.
Let’s face it, whoever has the hardest punch doesn’t mean jack. If any of these guys land clean with their best punch their opoonent will be sparked out. And it’s not like they are all standing with their guards down saying hey Wilder, hit me. It’ll all come down to whose offense is better than whose defense.
FFS, I don’t know if the majority of you dudes realise this but boxing actually exists outside of America. “Rocky from Stocky” (Stocky = Stockbridge Village which is a ****hole area of Liverpool) has shown himself to be a tough fighter from the get go, always an underdog but nearly always finding a way. Before and after the Callum Smith fight he has shown he has skills. He let himself down during the Smith fight cause he wanted a war from the get go and ended up getting smashed. Canelo needs to be switched on or he’ll have a tough night. And if Canelo is thinking of warming up for a go at Callum Smith he’s using something besides PEDs. Smith has a strong ametuer background, is 6 foot 3 inches, a skilled tactician with knockout power. Rocky may get sparked out by Canelo but Smith will be one step to far for the tainted beef munching Mexican
Wilder needs a reality check if he thinks that nobody knows who Miller is. He’s the only American heavyweight contender/champion with the testicular fortitude to step into the ring with AJ. Wilder has had ample opportunity to get what would be his most lucrative fight to date made but has avoided it like the plague. His BS of “we offered $50 million” is wearing thin, they couldn’t show the proof of cash upfront so no deal. I’d go as far to say that Wilders endless excuses are piss poor but that would be an insult to both urine and poverty
Man you are not very bright. Sigh.
Hahaha, you thought that was a serious reply, then questioned my intellect as a result. English people are renowned for being sarcastic dude. Looks like your sarcasm detector was affected when you had your personality bypass
The thing me and a lot of people can't get away from. Is, aj said give me 50 million and we can fight. Haymon and Finkle said ok you got it. Then aj said, just kidding I'm not fighting DW. Plus it appears Wilder wants the fight more than aj . Ajs manager knows aj can make millions fighting generic soup cans In England rather than fighting DW. Now don't get me wrong I know aj would fight Wilder in a second as he believes he is the better boxer with good power in bilateral hands. But his management fears that one punch from DW that could change the fights outcome. I don't call aj a coward I call his team greedy. They want him fighting safe bouts. They don't want the Cuban master boxer or DW. But it's just a matter of time before they are forced to meet one of them.
you’re so blinkered it’s funny. AJ asked for $50 million to fight Wilder and Finkel offered him the money. Deal done right. In business (which boxing is) saying you have the money gets you sweet FA, you need to show you have it. where was the guarantee of payment, where was the contract, terms and conditions etc etc. To fight AJ Wilder has been offered a $12.5 million flat fee for 1 fight, a 3 fight deal for anywhere between $80-120 million and still he says no. Love or loathe Eddie Hearn he pays big money, has a wealth of top talent earning top dollar, Canelo being the biggest name. So who is ducking and who is full of crap
Wilder and Fury have no option but to fight one another cause they’re both the B side of any future AJ fight as it stands. Fury has no belt and no leverage so he needs to take a high risk so early into his comeback. Wilder refused an offer to unify the HW titles cause he thought he was being undervalued (£12.5 million is 5 times the max he’s earned for a fight so far). If he can offer AJ $50 million for a fight whys he earning chump change fighting in low brow, half empty venues.

War Usyk! School them English muffins!
He’s fighting a man not a nation Boksfan. If you’ve read any of the articles about this contest virtually nobody gives Bellew a chance, including a lot of his countrymen and women. Us English don’t need to be “schooled” about boxing seeing as we’re having a bit of a renaissance at the moment. I’ll let you go back to muffin your mule now. Consider yourself schooled
Huh??? AJ "Ill fight anywhere and anyone for $50,000,000"
Al Haymon "We got $50,000,000".
Saying that I’ve got $50 million and actually proving it are 2 different things dude. How on earth can a promoter who gets his boxer $2.5-3 million a fight guarantee that amount of money? Plus it’s not as simple as cash = fight. There’s contact negotiations ie the finer details, venue, rematch clauses, image rights, gloves used, ring size, order of ring entrance, who gets top billing. Stop with the naivity, Finkell made a BS offer designed to take pressure off. Now I hear that Wilder and his team are contemplating the last offer from Hearn, they’re gonna take the cash cause they’re on borrowed time after being schooled by Fury
WTF dude, Callum Smith has been left on the peripheries of the world title scene by numerous champions over the last few years. Plus he destroyed another current champion inside a round (Rocky from stocky). He finally got his chance, proved himself and is going to clean up the division if the other guys don’t duck him
FFS how difficult would it be to sort all this bs out? Here’s an idea for the powers that be HEAVYWEIGHT SUPER SERIES. 4 quarter finals = 1: AJ V Big Baby 2: Wilder V Breazeale 3: Fury V Schwarz and 4: Whyte V Parker. The winner of QF 1 and 4 face off as do the winners of QF 2 and 3. It’d be a good tournament with 5 unbeaten fighters and the other 3 only being beaten by fighters in the tournament. Easy or what
With Fury winning it looks like he’ll be getting his wish and facing off against Wilder in November. Wilder may have bitten off more than he can chew though because love him or hate him Fury has actual boxing ability and is head and shoulders above anyone else on Wilders resume. Hopefully the winner will face AJ (if he wins in September) in a showdown for all 4 belts and give us all the spectacle we deserve
Callum Smith has been underrated and overlooked for the last couple of years. I can see him unifying the super middleweight division before moving up and doing the same there
It’s nice to see that Callum Smith is finally getting his much deserved shot at a super middleweight title. He’s been out manouvered by the “BIGGER” names and over looked for far to long by the boxing organizations. George Groves will get stopped mid rounds after being worn down by to many accurate body shots. Callum Smith has the tools to dominate for years to come
