This kid has so much potential and has proved that he can beat (and knock out) some real good competition. It would be sad if after his career has ended ppl say that his toughest opponent was himself.
I was a fan of the KO’s, but unfortunately Wilder got seriously exposed against Fury. If it weren’t for a couple of mistakes the first fight there wouldn’t even be a need for a trilogy. I hope Wilder’s taking this fight seriously and develops some boxing skill because he’s not going to get lucky against Fury unless Fury downs some pre-fight pints.
I didn’t know Plania, but I’m glad someone from Pacquaio’s stable can get some recognition. I mean, who’s gonna take the reigns once he retires??
Definitely a setback for Greer. He was on a path to a belt now he has to reset. Sometimes you shake off opponents to get the one you think you want, then they end up giving you the L!
He lost to his only formidable opponent. Beterbiev isn't going to let this go the distance. The people want to see Beterbiev fight Canelo. But Canelo('s team) will never let that happen :nono:
This fight was a lot closer than I expected it to be. Props to you Loma but you’re in a division full of flashy young divas. You won’t win unless you take the decision out of the judge’s hands :killyou:
This is going to be Manny’s toughest challenge in recent years. At least he still shows he won’t duck anyone and accepts all challengers. It’ll be an exciting fight from start to finish.
Sadly, I have to agree with Hearn. I don’t think he’s reached Mayweather status but even a casual fan knows who Canelo is and probably knows a trilogy with GGG would be exciting. Loss or not Canelo is still in his prime and the thought of putting a definitive end to the rivalry would put ppl in seats and in front of screens. As a hardcore fan, if they double-booked I’d pay to see Spence/Crawford. I’m much more excited to see if that’s going to be a start of an even better trilogy.
On another note, I loved when trilogies happened one fight after another. Or at least not years apart. Each fight would be much more relevant and bring a bigger draw because there would be immediate impact on record, ranking, any titles held, etc. Let’s see if that’s what Spence/Crawford do
