Iran Barkley could have made a fortune if he defeated Roberto Duran but instead, lost and his pay dropped. Basically lost a fortune. Just like that, one loss can become a huge downfall for a fighter.
But he's still ranked number 2 in the middleweight according to Ring. He'll most likely be facing one of the top 10, Jacobs. He keeps winning, he's eventually gonna have to fight the best anyways. Why rush him?
