He destroyed the man who dropped and really beat Floyd,Zab Judah.
Be honest now...have you seen the fight?...or even better have you seen any non Amir Khan fights?...
From your posts it is evident that you are not a fan of boxing but of a boxer...no doubt you first watched boxing with Amir and will stop watching it when hes gone...in order to save yourself from further embarrassment just stop commenting on boxing...
Your probably a 15 year old girl who wishes she could be an Amir groupie one day...honestly part of Amir's unpopularity is because of fans like you...boxing fangirls are worse than those in the hip hop forums who declare **** like Drake is the best rapper of all time...
Lol at this thread...
To the O.P you do realise that Black isn't a country right?...all those other groups you talk about are nationality groups...so Mexican, Puerto Rico etc...those kind of groups make sense just like a British, Russian or Ghanaian thread would make sense...
Your racial thread is along the lines of a White persons only thread which would get a lot of stick much like your thread has...
Start an American boxer thread and no-one would cuss you...your comparing a racial thread to a national thread which isnt the same thing...
Also on the concept of race there is a fine line between racial pride and being a bigot...you come across as being somewhat bigoted...
That makes it that much sweeter when Wlad destoys the Zimbabwean woman -beater.
Is there any particular reason you continue to refer to him being a ZIMBABWEAN woman beater...cant you just call him a woman beater?...
Sorry to be nitpicky but BHop has fought outside of the USA...he fought Segundo Mercado in Ecuador...
But the point being made is essentially correct...he has a huge fanbase in Indonesia and makes good money there...he has very little crossover appeal to be successful in the USA...and he has travelled abroad too...I'm sure if Gamboa said he was willing to fight in Indonesia then Chris wouldn't say no...
Also its funny how people cry robberies but then conveniently forget Juarez's gift draw in their first fight...
Sorry but you fail. My 'suggestion' in saying that who has Aydin fought refers to how Berto is looking at the big picture, and why Berto wants a fight against a big name before fighting his mandatory. You keep saying that 'it can be argued' lol...WTF lol. I'm not a fan of Berto. I'm looking at it from his point of view. If Berto can't get a big fight, he has to fight his mandatory period.
Well who has Berto fought to be fighting a big name...if anything hes suggested hes not ready for Pacquiao and I dont begrudge him that because he clearly isnt...
And then you have to ask yourself who is left in the division...Floyd again is a no go for him...Mosley seems to be returning to 147 to fight Pac...then honestly who else is there?...Cotto is another one that is unlikely...
Berto can keep saying that Zaveck, Aydin and the rest arent big enough names...he hasnt got a big enough name himself to be chasing some of the fights he claims he wants...why should Floyd, Pac or Cotto fight Berto?...what does Berto bring to the table?...
Berto should fight the best in his division and not sit and wait for a big fight...beating the best fighters in the division will help prove his is the real deal...suggesting that Zaveck and Aydin arent big enough names and fighting the likes of Hernandez makes it hard for one to take him seriously...
As I said in another thread lets wait and see what Bradley does next...no-one is saying JMM is ducking Brandon Rios cos hes fighting Likar Ramos and then Pac so why so quick to judge here?...
What is evident is Bradley wanted to leave Shaw so the Khan fight wasn't going to happen at that moment in time...the desire was to get a contract with Top Rank and fight Pac...Pac doesn't need to be his first fight therefore this 'is he going to sit and wait' argument really is somewhat weak...if he gets his contract sorted he fights on the Pac undercard and then fights Pac after he beats JMM...
If the Pac fight is off the table and Bradley still avoids Khan then by all means call it a duck but lets atleast wait for Desert Storm to secure a contract before evaluating his position...
If Bradley sorts out his contractual issues and ends up on the Pac/JMM undercard then this really becomes a non issue...its no secret that Bradley wants a deal with Top Rank and wants the biggest fight he can in Pac but Gary Shaw is making this process as problematic as possible...
Now who knows how his contract is going atm but whats to say that if he does sort out his contract he doesn't end up on the Pac undercard either against a 147 tuneup or say against Mike Jones with the winner taking a fight against Pac...Arum has mentioned them both as possible opponents in 2012 and Bradley would be a better proposition than say Aydin...two unbeaten American fighters with the with winner fighting Pac makes sense...
Therefore this Pac won't be fighting till 2012 argument is correct but only if you presume Bradley won't fight someone first...its not as simple as either/or...there appears to be a 147 roadmap in place if this contract comes off and Khan is not part of it...many make the career high payday argument against Khan but the fact remains that Bradley wanted to leave Shaw and a fight against Pac offers more reward than a fight against Khan...
If Bradley doesn't land a contract with Top Rank and doesn't get onto that undercard when his contractual issues are sorted then I would fully expect him to fight Khan...hes searching for the biggest fight in Pac and if it doesn't happen then Khan is the next biggest fight...
If this road to Pac falls through and Bradley still refuses to fight Khan then I will be the first person calling it a duck...currently however especially with Bradley's contractual issues it is hard to say with certainty what will happen...I just hope for Bradley that he can sort out his issues and get onto that Pac/JMM undercard...
Rojas is a good fight...Litzau isnt...
Its hard to make an accurate judgement on Caballero following the Litzau fight...just he ruined any chance he had of ever landing a big fight again...he isnt **** without his height and combine that with the fact that he clearly wasnt prepared for the Litzau fight contributed to the defeat...but hes a fool for not being prepared...
A prepared Caballero is still a threat against the shorter fighter like Juanma but hes royally screwed himself with that loss to Litzau...
But since your boxing knowledge is limited I'll inform youyour line... Has Berto avoided anyone?
The boxing knowledge point was in reference to your suggestion that no-one has heard of Aydin's opponents...just cos you havent doesnt mean others havent...
And your suggestion is that Aydin is undeserving hence your original statement of 'who has he fought'...
It can be argued that he didnt want Collazo II and so far by using HBO's unwillingness to have Aydin Berto has sidestepped him...i
I can appreciate your a fan of the guy but do you honestly think his resume is an impressive one for a champion?...
Does he deserve nearly a million dollars for fighting Freddy Hernandez?...
And with Mosley V Pac nearly done who do you suggest he does fight next?...
lol.. as if being born in a 20% literate culture with an incestuous rape epidemic even for a little while has no effect on adult behavior whatsoever
when will the hippie generation finally just die off? i'm tired of having to break things down for toddlers in safety helmets
Lol funnily enough Zimbabwe has the highest literacy rate in Africa at 92%...and need I actually provide you with rape statistics for the United States...
So beating Aydin will bring Berto big fights??? Ok, I see...
And beating Hernandez will?...what big fights do you see for Berto right now?...he should fight Aydin because it is his mandatory...with the big guns unavailable who do you feel he should fight?...
Frank Ducketts...
Just for further reinforcement of how poorly constructed your argument is...
Aydin's last 3 opponents...Dan, Ouali, Bonsu and he is is looking to challenge Berto for his belt...
Berto's 3 opponents before his title shot...Trabant, Rivera and Estrada and he beat Gonzalez for the vacant belt...
One could argue that Aydin's opposition prior to getting a shot is better than Berto's...
The underlined is hypocritical. Floyd said the same thing about some fighters, and you all cried "Floyd ducks guys or Floyd is coward" lol... Right now PAc could do a lot better than fight an undefeated WBC champion with speed who is in his prime huh...gotcha!
Hmm thats your perspective and your entitled to it...you rate Berto a lot more than I do so you see that as a legitimate fight...I don't feel hes good enough yet and don't feel his camp would be silly enough to genuinely push for it...
Berto V Mosley would have been a good fight to have next...that would have been a good acid test for how far he has come...
And that attitude Pac and the likes Floyd have is something that happens when you become a draw...the rights and wrongs of that attitude is another argument altogether...
Berto isnt but acts as though he is...however much you want to place him up there with the likes of Pac he is closer in achievements to the likes of Zaveck and in the absence of fights against top fighters he should either fight his mandatory or he should jump up to light middle where he might be able to make fights that make him more of a sell on the US market...he needs to build his name...his isnt a name already...
Cintron was calling him out lately and says he would be willing to fight at 147...this would build his name...
Thanks for your opinion which you think is boxing knowledge lol... Now critique Aydin like you did Berto you clueless fool, and show us how much YOU know about boxing lol...
Lol resorted to namecalling I see...
Anyhow there is little need to critique Aydin in the same manner as one should Berto...
Berto is a champion and for a champion has a shocking resume...and is known more for who he doesnt fight than for who he has...
You asked if anyone had heard of Aydin's opponents and whether he has the right to fight Berto...he has won eliminators against the opposition he has needed to...and atleast 2/3 are better than Hernandez...
And the fact is the WBC have asked for this fight to happen...so thats why Aydin has a right to fight Berto...
Its ridiculous to compare a beltholders opposition to that of someone whos working his way to be a challenger...
In Berto's defence I'm not expecting him to fight Manny Pacquiao but in a weak division he should atleast fight a top 10 fighter...
People find fault in Berto wanting to face PAc, yet these same people complain that Berto doesn't fight anyone and has not fought anyone lol... Hypocrites. Maybe a win over Aydin can get Berto the multi million dollar fight that he's been looking for lol...
Suggesting he wants Pacquiao now is speculation...I highly doubt his camp believed they would get the Pac fight so talking it up is their way of making out that Berto wants to fight the best...
Its easy for me to speak about how much I want something when I know I'm not going to get it...but even if we are to work with the idea that Berto does indeed want a top fight then there is no use in fighting tomato cans like Hernandez and waiting for the opportunity...for the record I reckon he's pissed about Pac taking Mosley...Berto would have agreed to fighting Mosley cos as declined as Mosley is he represents a big name and is a winnable fight...
You keep mocking the likes of Aydin, Zaveck, Dan etc...but they are the best the division has to offer outside of Floyd or Pac...if Pac and Mosley are off the table then who do you view as a legitimate opponent?...
Exactly right!, you just mentioned it. That's why, he wants Pacquiao because Pac is the best in his division at welterweight w/t the wbo belt and he has the wbc.
I also suggested that Berto needs to be realistic...he has faced one good fighter in Collazo who also has no name...and now he wants to fight the big league fighters...
The gap between both Floyd and Pac and the rest is huge...no-one is clamouring for a Pac V Berto fight...Berto doesn't have the resume and he doesnt have the fanbase to justify a fight...he is not nearly as big a name as he thinks he is...he isnt big enough to face the elite level fighters but he feels hes too big to fight the other beltholders like Zaveck even...
It seems increasingly likely that Pac V Mosley will happen so he has turn his attention elsewhere and fight some of the guys who he views aren't on his level...in a weak division fighting the likes of Hernandez is pathetic...
Other than Aydin what other fights do you realistically see for Berto?...
Who has this clown even fought to demand a fight with Berto???
Who has Hernandez fought...the guy is Berto's mandatory...
And if you do want to know who Hernandez has fought...Chop Chop who isnt even a welterweight and Anchondo...need i say more?...
But since your boxing knowledge is limited I'll inform you...
Collazo was supposed to fight Aydin until he decided he wanted to move up weight...
Ionut Dan Ion who is a top 10 welterweight and admittedly beat Aydin but Aydin still fought the guy...
Said Ouali who is another top 10 welterweight atm who is fighting an elimninator of his own against Randall Bailey...
Jackson Bonsu who he stopped in a good fight...fair enough not the biggest scalp but certainly a guy most have heard of...
Also notice these are essentially eliminators which give Aydin the right to fight beltholders...and if you don't know about them then thats your problem...
Now lets look at Berto...and remember this is a beltholder...
Hernandez...need I say more...
Quintana...should have been at 154 but I'll agree thats Quintana's fault...
Urango...remember that snoozefest...Urango also is no weltwerweight and is an average light welterweight...
And Collazo his legitimate fight he didn't win imo...
Welterweight has gone from being one of the strongest divisions to one of the weakest...
Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, Quintana have moved up...god knows what weight Pac will fight at next and Floyd is having his troubles outside the ring...and Mosley will come back to 147 provided its against Pacquiao it seems...
Now that leaves the top 10 very weak indeed and even then Berto cant find the bottle to fight a top 10 fighter...
I dont even rate Aydin but he will give give Berto trouble if Berto is willing to fight a top 10 fighter...i'm not expecting big names because they have all left the division...but I atleast expect him to fight a top 10 fighter...the two best guys on his resume Collazo - he lost to and Quintana was weight drained...the fact this guy walks off with nearly a mil for fighting Hernandez is a disgrace...
