I see people imploring to find ways to justify Bradley's loss er win, by saying this round was close, well I can see how that round was close, etc, but the reality is that it was not a close fight. Furthest from the truth. It was almost a shutout. I think Dunkin Donuts should share the medical reports and x-rays showing a broken foot and a sprained ankle, on two different feet!!!! Rios will lose to Alvarado Tonight Rios is lucky to have come as far as he has. What you see on TV is just part of the undisciplined, immature, unintelligent, uneducated thug which he truly is. As time goes by, he isolates and pushes away all those who were once friends, those who have helped him, and those who have put up with his stupidity. A training day with Rios is a training day in hell. Not because of the workout. Because of his loud mouth spewing stupidities. Now he has be manipulated by a whole new group of people. Good, NOT GREAT As the title says, "Good, Not Great." Robert Garcia is a POPULAR trainer. He is an okay trainer - if you are so lucky to get any actual time with him, not his roadies. When the smoke clears, people will see what all has seen in Oxnard for some time. Robert Garcia is just an okay trainer that teaches one style to his many fighters. Well, GREAT Trainers know that every fighter is different, so a one size does not fit all. Robert was a better Fighter than he is a trainer. Robert teaches one way - pressure, pressure, pressure, go forward, forward, forward. He does not teach to box. Does not teach lateral movement. Does not study tapes. Does not have a Plan B or Plan C. His fighters cannot adjust if that is what is needed. Case in point - look at Brandon Rios and Richard Abril. Abril is an ugly fighter but he did win that fight. Why? Because he boxed, jabbed, and held, all night long. What did Brandon Rios do to adjust? Nothing!!! He kept coming out doing the same thing and expecting different RESULTS! What did Robert tell him to do differently? NOTHING! The way things go on now is that Robert has his fighters spar one another. He may yell some tips here and there but there is no real training. All this will be figured out soon. If any fighter expects to spend any quality time with Robert Garcia, forget about it. He is over extended the way it is. Harsh but TRUE. Keeping it Legit. Pacman Falls; Brandon Rios is next Finally, Marquez gets his day and makes not doubt about it, he knocks out Pacman cold. Bob Arum saw his golden goose go out the window, which is why he was so chummy with Juan Manuel Marquez after the fight. Arum had Brandon Rios on the short list to fight Pacquaio next. Well, not anymore. Lets see Marquez and Rios fight. That fight will be a whole heck of a lot easier for Juanma than Pacman's fight. Rios has no plan B or plan C. He not that smart. He only has plan A - go forward, get hit a lot and hit a lot. This works for him with people that stand in front of him and trade but does't work for anyone with decent lateral movement. Amir Kahn should look in the mirror and point the finger Amir Kahn is one of the only fighters in recent memory that is mediocre at best, has a glass chin, gets rocked or knocked out in his past 5 fights, and still stays on top of the money making game. Enough already about Kahn firing Roach and his new trainer, Hunter (who is very good),will make him in to Superman. Kahn, you suck. You have a GLASS CHIN!!! I don't care how much you trained on defense, Garcia still would have knocked you out. Peterson still beat you. Maidana still rocked your world. Kahn's boxing days are coming to an end.
