Kimmy is right Tyson hasn't fought anyone of note in the last decade - other than his losses to Lewis and Holyfield. However with the Heavyweight division being in such a dire state, he does have the ablility to beat just about anyone out there. But thats IF his heart is in it, and IF he trains hard and fights regularly. I would love to see it happen, but most likely he will fight a couple of bums, get a title shot for big money and be finished all over again!
I think Tszyu would win by KO inside 7. Manny would get caught time and time again on his way in by Kostyas trademark right hands. Plus Manny holds his left low.. not a good idea against Tszyu!
Hey Kapersky. I do not want to start another war with anyone regarding Tyson....but what is it exactly that you like about him? Was it his comments about Lewis' children, the fact that he rapes women, the fact that he sucks as a professional fighter and only fights bums?, his 1 punch power exhibited on complete bums, the way he talks?, what is it exactly?
His comments about Lewis' (non existent at the time) children were bang out of order.. but Tyson was hyped up and went on a bit of a rant, not the only fighter to have ever said something out of line. And besides its not like he was serious and he really wanted to eat Lewis' (non existent) kids!!!!
He was convicted of rape, sentenced and SERVED his time. Many poeple (people close to the case such as the victims own cousins, aswel as legal representatives who have studied the case) dispute the verdict, however thats another story.. like i said he SERVED his time.
Yeah he only fights bums now, why? cos he hasn't trained properly in years and is in no shape to fight the top fighters; he knows it, you know it, everybody knows it, and yet they still pay to watch him fight. So why shouldn't he fight and get paid? He's doesn't force anyone to watch him.
Maybe Kapersky likes the fact that in his prime Tyson was one of the most technically gifted heavyweights of all time, had blinding speed and was perhaps the hardest puncher of all time (could be disputed). Not to mention youngest heavyweight champ ever, 49 wins against only 3 losses with 43 KO's. Not bad for a guy who SUCKS as a professional fighter!!!
No ones saying he's the greatest fighter of all time or anywhere near it.. but theres nothin wrong with following Tyson, he's exciting to watch, is that a good enough reason for you??
Where do you guys get this shit from?? Are you all on drugs?? Tyson did not take steroids, when he said he took drugs, he was talking about the kind you get high on... it's a well known fact he loves his mariujana! I doubt he was smoking while in training during his prime, couldnt say for definite though.
As for the claims he retains his muscle mass too easily, even though he does not train very hard these days... If you have developed your physique 100% naturally (as Tyson did from a very early age), it is not hard to get back into shape after taking a layoff... and he does train hard enough to LOOK in shape (easier than actually being in FIGHTING shape).
There are no indications whatsoever to say that Tyson ever took steroids at any stage in his career.
