Khan should be able to beat Maidana easily, then fight the winner of the Bradley/Alexander bout. Moving up to WW is the next logical step afterwards. Khan will make UK proud.
I agree, Amir Khan should beat Maidana pretty easily. Kan has the height, reach, composure, and just sheer boxing skills to beat anyone at JR welterweight. And for the Maidana fight it really doesn't matter Khan has power or not cause Maidana will come in overly aggressive and add about twice the amount of power in Khan punches. Seriously come on, for some one who claims to know about boxing you should know Manny within two years wiped out the welterweight division. Give the man his credit. Hand wraps or no hand wraps he beat I much more comfortable (weight wise) and actually more defense minded Margarito. He easily and clearly beat a fighter who previously was never convincingly beat (that includes the cheating Margarito fight) and he destroyed the biggest name in the welterweight division besides Mayweather, Cotto. And none of these fighters were weight drained. You can't blame Manny for the welterweight division not having anything else to offer.
Matthyse clearly won the fight, He landed more punches, threw more punches, landed more power punches, threw more power punches, his power punches caused more damage then Devon's, and he scored a good clean knock down in the third. There is no way Matthyse could have possible lost the fight. It was kinda close but Mattyse clearly won. Alexander can't take a looping right hand, he should stay far away from Maidana.

Lets try to keep this simple, not sure why a debate of racism is taking place but anyways real fight fans know Berto is simply an ok fighter, he hasn't proved to be anything better. He got a gift from the Callazo fight, he got beat by Ortiz, and according to compubox Berto was getting hit way to often, while not landing as much and wasting a ton of energy against Jan Zaveck. Jan was never rocked in the fight and definetly had no reason to be tired. Sure the guy is flashy but his timing and head movement is not good enough for the elite fighters. Someone in this thread said it perfect: he may be 27 but he is already regressing as a fighter. I see Pacquiao probably taking this fight if the Mayweather fight doesn't go through.

Ariza sounds harsh but he is right; Shane will only put up a good fight for about three rounds. I'd rather see Marquez in there with Pac, plus its a easy fight to sell. But in the end neither Mosley or Marquez can beat Pacquaio. Really there isn't any worthy opponents out there at the moment but Floyd.

Come on Mosley has been done for a while, the last time he was any good was when he fought cotto. he barely beat mayorga, he beat a weight drained, plaster-less margerito, only landed one good shot on a very flat footed Mayweather, and didnt land one good shot on c -level fighter with sergio, now he is gonna be fighting some one moving and punching, mosely better hope the first shot he lands hurts paqcuiao cuz he only got about four rounds before its over. the one thing good about this fight though is that this fight is gonna change peoples mind on who will win btw mayweather and pacquiao

Floyd never went from 105 to 150 he's never even fought at 105.. when Floyd and others talk about Paquiaos rise in weight they are talking about within the last few years as he went from fighting at 129 up to 154.. So in just 3 yrs Pacquiao gained 17 pds of muscle and substantial increase in punching power most of which was gained when Paquiao was already over the age of 30.. impossible? No. Suspect? Yes.
Lol when you use facts make sure to get it right. At age 16 Mayweather was fighting in the amateurs at 106 lbs. At the age 16 Manny Pacquiao was fighting at 106, professionally. So yes they rose in weight similarly. Now Pacquaio never went from 129 to 154 in three years, He went from 130 to 145 in three years. Mayweather went from 129 to 147 in four years. So "Pacman" gained 15 lbs in three years, "Pretty Boy"/"Money" gained 18 lbs in four years. Ill make it more clear pacquiao gained weight at a rate of 5lbs a year, and mayweather gained weight at 4.5 lbs a year. WHAT IS YOUR ARGUMENT NOW????
This fight means just as little as it did when floyd fought the guy. He was old as dirt then, he's old as dirt now. Coming of an 18 month lay off then, coming off a less then stellar performance now. They're in it for the money and that's that. Mosley is the best financial option for manny right now so he's next.
