DLH-PBF Nyc presser
Hey guys, long time lurker here. Wondering if anyone knows the details for the de la hoya - mayweather press conference in New York on the 20th. In the previous thread about this BigPoppaPump said the 11am start time would be just for the media. Anyone know what time the public will be allowed in or any other details? Thanks guys, and if anyone else is going i'll see you there.

thats a cool story about gatti. if anyone hasn't seen that fight they need to, imagine round 10 of jlc chico except stretched out over 6 rounds. gatti got his ass beat for like 4 rounds and then almost knocks the guys head off with a counter left hook.
bowe/holyfield 1 round 10, chico/jlc round 10 of course, hearns/hagler round 1, round 6 i think of duran/barkley was awesome, benn/mcclellan round 1 just because benn survived it, round 12 or 13 of pryor/arguello 1 whichever round pryor stops him, amazing because the round before pryor eats a huge right hand and doesnt even move, foreman/lyle round 4 was a good one, maybe as close as you can come to two men standing right infront of each other throwing punches and ignoring defense, some of those gatti/ward rounds of course also.
the post is the same newspaper that once had the headline "spider man 2 to premier to network television" as their front page story. with that being said, it's still probably true
this article is seriously ridiculous. the author is obviously biased, especially with that "exaggerated defense" comment. what the hell does that even mean? the author is trying to say that floyd hasn't beaten any big names yet winky wright and pacquaio have? mayweather has beaten equally if no better opposition then both of them. did he really mention that winky has beaten bronco mckart and downplays the fact that mayweather beat jesus chavez? last time i checked no one cares about bronco mckart and jesus chavez is still a good fighter and was about to have a big fight with berrara.
so mayweather has beaten chico, jlc twice (both top 10 guys), gatti, corley, n'dou, jesus chavez, angel manfredy but because pacquiao beat berrara and morales (and lost to morales incase anyone forgot) and had a "dramatic draw" he has fought better opposition then floyd? this article just seems like someone looking for any excuse to disrespect floyd.
saw both of them at the espn show today. tarver looks a little bigger then usual and talked about having to put on weight for the rocky movie so i think it will benefit hopkins to bulk up. if tarver goes in there looking for the knockout, which i dont think he will, hopkins should be able to out box him. that being said i still wont pay for this fight.
